I am so intrigued by your story - unusual and complex, compelling and entertaining. There are even more chapters on your website ( .com) with a dramatic twist that makes me beg for a sequel.
But at the same time, you let us share a little bit of your private life and the dramas that happen in the background. The illness of your son Payton, the death of your mother. I am so sorry to hear how you are struggling to keep your head above water. How hard it is for you to stay strong. Despite sick children, money worries, pandemic and loss of loved ones. I can more than understand that you are depressed, that you are grieving. If I were there I would take you in my arms and encourage you. Let you know that you are not alone and after this valley, good times are waiting for you again. And give you a baby dog. Feel loved

I keep finding unfinished stories! I hope you come back and finish this someday. It's a fantastic arc, Eric and Sookie with a powerful teenage son. I've enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you for the time you've spent writing it and I hope your son grows out of his ailments. By the way, you need a new beta. Lots of mistakes. And, American children don't generally say "bloody." I usually don’t like kid Eric/Sookie, but this is a definitely good piece of writing, especially the last few chapters from Ericson’s POV. The raids to get the cellphones was rivetting- best chapter overall. Not a fan of this Sookie - too whiney/too compliant and a very helicopter mother indeed.
To me, this isn’t complete, not the least because there’s no resolution of the attempted takeover. Yet it’s still a great story. Ty for sharing it.
