I like Luna’s character and she is very sweet, but she expects people to change without having suffered the experiences that cause people to change. Still, I suspect that’s natural for a 14 year old.

I loved Flius.

I despise McGonagall and Dumbledore. Sitting quietly while students are children is contemptible.

I actually appreciated Fudge. He’s a half way normal politician with a psycho assistant.

I loved Lucius Malfoy as the Dada instructor. For all of his casual bigotry, at least he was teaching something.

Umbridge was largely correct about her criticisms of Dumbledore.

This story and it's predecessor are absolutely brilliant and remain the gold standard for Harry/Luna fanfics, in my opinion. I particularly like how normal and human Luna is. Too often she is a Seer or has magic sense or something equally mystical. Not enough fics portray her as a normal girl who's gone through really rough things and uses her eccentricity as a coping mechanism.

I realise it's been years and the recent update from Arpad Hrunta states that he is not likely to return to fanfiction any time soon. Despite this, I hope against all hope that it will one day be finished, and it will remain in my followed fics just in case.

Please have Ron ditch Lavender and end up with Hermione. They belong together.

Nooo I’m so sad it’s incomplete. I just read the first story and this the sequel in the past few days, absolutely loved it. I’ve never read a Harry/Luna story before, and I think I have set my expectations really high with this one lol, because this is such an amazingly lovely story. I like seeing how Delores sees everything. I think people forget that villains believe in what they do just as much, if not more, than the good guys.

Umbridge deserves death. I am not joking. Even by the standards of my own morality, she deserves to be tortured and then executed. This is the sort of thing that makes waterboarding acceptable in exceptional circumstances for people like her and other terrorists.

I like this story a lot. It has a dark backdrop, but the relationship between Luna and Harry is light and sweet. It is also well written.

I am very much a H/Hr supporter. Mostly as I think Harry is an emotional basket case and a powerful wizard who needs someone strong enough to bring some logic and common sense in his life, while Hermione needs loyalty and a bit of chaos which Harry brings to the table. However, I can see Harry and Luna working for similar reasons, though Luna would probably draw the sting from Harry’s darkness as opposed to rational thought she’d bring emotional support.
