| Very Small Prophet chapter 20 . 3/6/2012
I see Lily still won’t apologize to Sev for being a cold-hearted unforgiving bitch when they were teenagers. And James is as smug and condescending as ever. I’m not impressed with either of them.

can't wait for the next chapter.
Just a question, was the person who caused Piers to die Sirius? After all, he too would know what had happened to Rose and had nothing to lose with using magic against him since he is already wanted and on the run.
Well really can't wait for more of the story. Update soon please

Hi there. Just wanted to say how much I've been enjoying this story. I know that it can be quite a challenge to keep Snape in character in this type of story, but you do it exceptionally well. I especially enjoyed the end of the chapter. I suppose that Snape was trying to disguise his admission of a fatherly love for Rose...very well done. Looking forward to more!

This is SO excellent, I've been reading for hours! I can't believe it hasn't got more reviews! I can't wait to find out what happens next :)
| Very Small Prophet chapter 17 . 2/24/2012
“Poppy was a Hufflepuff through and through…”
I don’t know why people think Hufflepuffs are soft just because they have the word “puff” in their name. Their defining virtues are loyalty and hard work. That may not be flashy, but it’s not soft, nor stupid.
I think of Hufflepuffs like the Roman Legions: tough, disciplined, united, marching with shields interlocked and short swords at the ready over the wild, broadsword-swinging Celts (Gryffindor), the wise Egyptians with their centuries of lore and impressive technical skills (Ravenclaw), and the subtle, imaginative, ambitious Greeks, who created a brilliant culture that became the basis of Western Civilization then quickly fell apart in petty wars and mutual back-stabbing (Slytherin). Hufflepuff conquers the world!
P.S. The Romans also came up with the word “decimate,” which means “kill every tenth person.” No, they’re not soft.
P.P.S. Next time you’re going to have characters break bones, ask me about it first. I have loads of first-hand experience, and can save you from things like having Snape crunching compound fractures back into place without anesthesia or even pain killers.

So, when is Remus going to tell everyone that Sirius is an Animagus who takes the form of a large Grim-like dog so Severus can stop facilitating Black’s access to Hogwarts and Sectumsempra the bastard?
Oh, that’s right. Never. Just like in canon. And Remus is supposed to be a good guy?
I trust when Snape finally learns what’s been going on, he’ll blame the Cowardly Werewolf, not himself.
| Very Small Prophet chapter 9 . 2/22/2012
"I promise you, Severus, that I had no idea you were Mr. Longbottom's greatest fear. If I had, I would not have chosen him to go first against the boggart. I assure you that there was no intent to humiliate you whatsoever."
Liar, liar, pants on fire!
Lupin asked Neville what his greatest fear was, and suggested the humiliating costume himself. The spineless hypocrite strikes again.

“They have always taken a very dim view of vigilantism.”
And what is the Order of the Phoenix if not a vigilante organization?
Is it okay if I strangle Dumbledore?
| Very Small Prophet chapter 5 . 2/21/2012
The real threat from Remus Lupin is not that he’s a werewolf but that he’s a spineless hypocrite who has always knuckled under to that would-be murderer Sirius Black. I don’t believe for a minute Remus never actively bullied Snape, but his sins are generally of omission: he failed to inform anyone that Black (whom he believed to be a mass murderer) was an animagus who could defy Hogwarts’ wards, and he failed to share the Marauders Map, a superb surveillance tool for spotting intruders, with Dumbledore or anyone else in authority. That makes him an accomplice for everything Black does. He is also criminally negligent for failing to take his Wolfsbane. “Likable Remus Lupin” is not such a fine fellow after all; Severus is right to scorn him. Even if they have to work together, Snape’s scorn should never lessen, because Remus deserves every bit of it.
