Another good chapter! A stark reminder of the trauma Takeru went through as a mere 8-year old in Adventure, and it seems all too real that the fear has never really gone away but only covered up better by him as he grew up. It's a good recognition that, between him and the rest of the Chosen Children, he has gone through more pain and loss than the others did when they were younger. The anger he holds inside that isn't always apparent seems to be coming to the surface somewhat, and it'll be very interesting to see the ways in which he'll deal with this as an older boy now.

The details of Sato's vendetta against the Chosen continue to come to light. That he points out the Crests and their associated traits specifically seems to be a point of significance...

I was so stressed reading this, like I was worried they'd all die in the end. Thankfully they lived. The story overall was amazing, the writing was so well done and I could see all of them reacting like they did. Great job, hopefully I'll see some more from you later.

You're very welcome, TMSmith, you're very very very welcome, my friend. That has to be, so far, one of the best Digimon fanfics I've ever read, right up there with The Digisword & Home by the Sea.

True the story does drag on in several occasions, and not all of the questions I can think of in mind are exactly answered (such as what the heck happened to Hiraga and where is he now?), but since I see it as an epic tale, I can skim over such imperfections easily. Heck I want to see a sequel, I want to know more about Sato, more about the Dark Man, more about those other pre-Adventure Chosen Children you brought up a few times throughout this tale.

As for your four ideas for future stories, I don't mind any, you can create those tales if you wish to. Anyway, thank you for creating a great tale, with great characters, and a great resolution. Stay awesome TMSmith, stay awesome forever...

...I was hoping to see a little bit more of a backstory to him, being an original DigiDestined prior to the events of Adventure/02 after all. And will Hiraga suffer a similar fate? Better find out next.
