Madoka snorted into the paperwork, practically crying. "Don't even think about apologizing, Mai-chan - that was hilarious! Every time Noll starts in, I'm going to repeat that phrase in my head..."

Omg love the line about naru having a stick up his ass! I was laughing so hard i had to take a minute before i could read again! You really are very witty. But 3 weeks? I'm sad! All for the best though for me since i will be moving into a new house for the next 3 weeks. Fanfiction really gets me into trouble lol! I read it when i should be doing other things. I love how Naru's emotional growth is showing. From his amusement (and even a smile!) about the tea, to his panic when he ran to Mai's rescue, you are doing a great job.

I like how Lin is picking up on things. His observations of both Naru and Mai's actions are leading to a revelation I think. I can hardly wait!

There was a lot of good in the conversations on this case, and I really like Madoka's leader/lecturer side. Her interactions with Mai and Naru work very well, and seeing her thoughts on the Naru situation is quite entertaining.

The case itself is very interesting. I thought maybe the scratches on the floor were from the ghost trying to get away while being dragged back to the room he was being kept in. I'm interested in seeing if I'm right.

Also, I guess I always assumed that Mai's scars went from her fingertips and up her arms. So I find myself wondering, is the splint just so huge it hides the ones on her hand, or are they only on her arms? I also like that they glow. For some reason that makes me happy.

Actually, all of this chapter made me happy. It was a really good one.

YAY UPDATE! This chapter was so so so so good! I love that Yasu was helping Mai find ways to explain the astral projecting and stuff. I was also a big fan of how you did the whole scene with Mai and the ghost. She was still Mai, still a trouble magnet and still has a propensity for trouble, but she was also more cautious, more calculating, and able to think and react well under pressure. I still can't wait to know what the scars are really all about, and wait for that shit to hit the fan so to speak lol. Then to top it all off the part about Naru's phone number was very well written. The reasoning you had behind why he didn't give it to her before made perfect sense and was well thought out, and I adore how Modoka told him at the end of the chapter that that would be cheating, quoting Mai. GREAT chapter, PLEASE update again soon!
