![]() ![]() ![]() I absolutely love this story. You're style of writing is easy to read yet so descriptive. You really know how to paint a picture in the reader's mind! You've made the characters so 3-dimensional and I love every single one of them! Every personal moment that Naru and Mai share make me go all gooey with excitement. I love that they have undoubtedly both matured but yet still retain the aspects of their relationship that we all know and love. I have now read this story so many times I've lost count, I love it that much! Please update soon :) x |
![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, this story is genius! I just love how you made Naru's character! You managed to make him care without getting out of character. Seriously, update soon! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I recently started rewatching the Ghost Hunt anime, and decided to look up some fanfiction on the series. So far, this is the best I've come across. You keep the characters very true to their original personalities, but you also portray their growth and general maturing very well. The Mai/Naru interactions are amazing, I love their back-and-forth bickering and the subtle little nods at there being more between them than what meets the eye. LOVE how everyone else around them thinks it's obvious (and how they even get frustrated when Mai acts oblivious or Naru just acts like, well, Naru. :P) Description throughout the story is great, and I think you handled their first case really well - it was creepy for me, the male genital crushing was just... wow. I don't blame the guys for being a little worried :P You portray the emotions really well, and I love how you drop little hints to what's going on with Mai's transfer, with Gene, how it connects to Naru, etc, all throughout. Actually, I know I said I love Mai and Naru's interactions, but honestly all the characters are very enjoyable to read about in this fanfiction, they're portrayed in a very likeable way and highly entertaining and at times sympathetic. I can't wait to read more, this is definitely a story I want to follow. :D Great job! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've read a lot of stories on this site and i think I've read almost all the stories in this thread(? i don't know if that's what you call it or not). but i can honestly say that this has to be the BEST story I've read. i look forward to it every week and (being the very odd person i am) have also printed off each chapter every week just so i can read the story over during my study period. yes i know very weird but i can't help it since i adore this story! you have every character down to a T and everything is detailed. if this wasn't based off someone else story i would order you to send it to an editor and have it printed into an actual book. my only regret is not reviewing the first time i saw the first chapter and then putting it off. anyways enough of my rambling. love the story. please update soon. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I happen to just adore this story I can't wait until they get to the really fluffy stuff. Lovebit and update soon. |
![]() ![]() ![]() To be honest, I don't know what to say. There is so much detail that it would take me ages to say all the good things I think about it. Suppose it's my fault for not reviewing before now really. Sorry about that. It's plot and characters are as solid as a rock and all the situations you have chosen to put into The Transfer have been a joy to read. Every situation is down to earth, detailed and the way you write Mai is lovely. She is, after all, a grown-up now and what a lovely person she is. Thank goodness Naru's coming around to that fact! The part where he helped Mai out of the pond was just delightful! I look forward to reading the next chapter like someone looks forward to watching their favourite TV show every week :) It's excellent. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lol Yasu is always quick on his feet! This was so great! I really enjoy how you are meshing serious moments with funny ones so well! You seem to really know the characters too. You're doing so great! As to be expected, since you've been from day one! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this story I can't wait for more! More more! |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was so sweet! I love Naru in this chapter, you've done an amazing job with him, showing that he cares but also keeping him in character. And I like how Lin is so kind to Mai and how he observed Naru and Mai at the dinner. Also, Yasuhara rocks! But most of all I think I liked how Mai and Naru had similar answers to Madoka about psychometry and it made Mai feeling better because someone else thought the same as her, and Naru just said "If you think so.", like he agreed with her, because it just made her happy. Oh, and every time I read a new chapter of this story I go insane because I know I'd have to wait a week to read the next :D That was pretty random. So, yeah, keep it up and please, please, update soon :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Naru really care for his Mai. are she going to have again dream in the night? with Naru around she forgeet about them. he really is her knight, without him knowing. kawaii! MAIxNARU forever! please UPDATE really soon! ;-) please UPDATE really soon! ;-) please UPDATE really soon! ;-) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Such an amazing, heart felt, emotional chapter. I am absolutely loving Naru's inner conflict over how he feels about wanting to help Mai and be there for her (like helping her out of the water). I also really liked the tension that was created about the death vision thing and how upset Luella was that they couldn't help her, and I also loved that you had that flashback with what Naru said about death visions. The connection that gave Mai and Naru was brilliant. I can't wait to read more so PLEASE update again soon! I seriously can't get enough of this story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for the kind words! I really like Lin in this chapter. He seems to have the most insight into Naru's thoughts and his kindness towards Mai is a nice touch. I'm still hopeful for a good discussion between Lin and Mai. Naru's reaction to the kiss was quite entertaining and the scene at the restaurant was very well done. I loved Naru's calculating smile and desert combo. It worked very well. Naru's lack of understanding of his emotions is very well portrayed. From his urge to go to her side at the pond to his effort to save Mai from her visible dream-warnings it was all very...Naru. The scene where he helped her out of the pond was very sweet, and Madoka and Lin's reactions were just the right tone for the way the scene was written. I am also wondering, was the tingling Naru felt after holding her hand from the power they share or his feelings? What was the voice in his head referring to that he was missing? The power link or the emotional one? And wouldn't holding hands with her be uncomfortable? Seems like it would be awfully hard not to get her gloves wet in that situation. I liked the parallels between Naru and Mai's conversations with Madoka and Luella's motherly instincts. Luella and Yasu's frustration with Martin was quite amusing. I thought that Mai's appeal to Naru instead of Yasu was perfectly in line with her character and shouldn't have been unexpected to Yasu. Instinctively she would have gone to the person who had the best reason to prevent the conversation and the knowledge of Luella to know how to divert her. And Yasuhara's getting last word (and the choice of words) in this chapter was perfectly brilliant. As always, this chapter made me think of other possible scenes in the story. I keep thinking that Naru will only figure out he is in love with her in one of two ways. 1) He sees someone else in love and somehow figures out he has similar feelings (perhaps through his psychometry) or 2) someone tells him and after a period of denial he accepts the truth. In the second scenario, I somehow see a rather embarrassing father/son talk in my mind. ;) And so ends this episode of Ari's stream of consciousness reviewing. Thanks for another great chapter. |
