I don't mind that you didn't put some action into this chapter, because the information regarding Mai's power is really interesting. But I do hope that they would have a case soon, so Mai could meet Gene again. I began to worry about him (even if he's dead, geez)

Can't believe it took me so long to read the updates. SO great! First of all, Naru's reaction in chapter 8 to hearing about her time as a waitress and getting attacked was priceless, you could totally tell he now wants to find and kill that guy. The testing is all very interesting actually and I love that Naru and Lin ended up being there (and OMG that story about the bruises and the counseling was hysterical)!. I am loving the whole scar thing and I am DYING to know more about it so PLEASE update again soon!

MAI had an EX-BOYFRIEND! *gasps* That just makes the time gap wider, right? Naru sure missed a lot...

As for the scar...did Mai just, hmmm, absorb Gene there? Did he just incorporate his body into her? Isn't that like, bad - like "black-magic-bad"? (sorry, can't think of a better term)

If I indeed got it right, that would explain...

"...Her more immature tendencies had actually given her a lot of practice with her PK over the last year, she thought with a grin. Then Mai froze. 'Her' PK, she had called it."

and this...

"No matter what Naru thought when he found out, she'd never be sorry."

Whatever they did...I'm thinking they're doing it so someone could "balance-out" Naru's powers again. But at what cost, I wonder?

And with the last part in mind, it is kind of evident that Mai is still in-love with Naru, so why is there an ex-boyfriend? Is it a rebound? Or was it some bad guy who used her?

Squeeeal! Sorry, I know I speculated a lot there, but I can't help it. I really enjoyed reading. I just had a very stressful day, and when I saw this story was up, I just lit up. (sigh) That just effectively de-stressed me. Nothing like a good chapter to make one's day, eh? Thanks for sharing that. Things are gradually unfolding indeed. :)

Hmm, I am guessing that Mai's scars have to do with absorbing the effects of Naru's PK into her? Or sharing the connection with him or their powers? Or maybe it's that she has seen a vision of Naru's future? Really love this story so much! You are doing awesome! I cannot wait to find out what the deal is with her scars!

I'm not sure if I've reviewed for this story yet, but I just wanted to say that this story is excellent! I honestly love everything about this story and this chapter had me laughing so freaking loud. I can't wait to find out more about the scars and this mysterious ex-boyfriend mai has. Can't wait to read the next chapter!

Yay. Sunday is transfer day ! (at least it's sunday in my country ;D)

You know what? I'm increasingly curious of that ex-boyfriend who shall remain nameless :D He must have had quite the impact on Mai, therefore I really really hope he'll make an appearance in the story. Him and the apathetic nerd meeting might be verrry interesting

And of course all this Gene-power-scars-thingy is also a mystery to be solved. It sounds like Mai didn't only do that so that Naru wouldn't have to supress his power any more but as if something bigger lurks there :D Can't wait till next sunday :)

Great chapter as always! :) I was practically on the floor laughing about Mai and Yasuhara being counseled. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Oh, man. Is that why Mai feels so connected to Gene? As if Gene's powers were given to her to protect Naru? Or something like that? Boy, this is terribly interesting. Such a cool plot and story. I can't wait to read more! ]

Mai's head shot up – Naru's smirking face was close to hers, and it was his arm around her waist.

I like Naru's behavior with Mai and how everyone but he and Mai can see what is going on. Thank you for the hints on the scars, and on "Her PK". I'm looking forward to the great revelation. And what happens next with Mai and Naru.

Aaargh ... I'm dying to know the story behind Mai's scar ... does it has something to do with Naru? and who's Mai ex-boyfriend? is he a psychic too? OMG, I hope next week could come faster (yeah, like that possible). please please please give me more chapter XD
