i get being upset about Lin's shitty family and maybe I missed aomtjing but I just dont understand why Madoka is taking it out on Lin

Hey so thankfully I checked up in this story after seeing a post on AO3 because I haven’t been getting notifications for this story and realized that there was several new chapters that k had no idea about! Thanks for the lovely story!

Recently binged ghost hunt for thr nth time and remembered this fanfic. I'm pleasantly surprised it's still going and as awesome as ever. I honestly adore your use of vernacular, finding new words to look up is always a joy! I'm looking forward to the next chapter n tue chaos that'll result from the eventual reveal.

Not gonna lie, I’m losing my mind…I have reread this story at least twice a year for YEARS because it’s so good! Im actually incapable of not checking fanfic every other day for your update (yes I read this twice since you posted and couldn’t put into words what I felt about it). I’m always trying to guess what is gonna happen next but I’m never even close! You are so unpredictable for someone writing so true to character! Glad to help with John! I re-read this story on a semi-regular basis, and check for updates frequently, so it was easy to spot. Wonderful work, as always! Happy to see that Naru might have caught on to the connection between him and Mai. Also pleasantly surprised to see that the mystery surrounding this case is not what happened to the ghost or who it is, but how they will get rid of her. Also, a question about something that was brought up way back but hasn't yet been revisited, will we ever get to find out more about Mai's mysterious ex-boyfriend? Love to see Naru's reaction to meeting him! Thank you for the update and can't wait for the next!

Thankfully I saw the update over on AO3 and decided to check over here. I’ve made several attempts and still am not getting update notifications coming through. However, this story is never far from my mind and I check in regularly just in case.

I loved this update! Seems like now that Naru is aware of his feelings for Mai he’s much more inclined to openly care for her. They’re getting so close to finally understanding each other’s true feelings! I’m so happy for them. Also, much closer to him discovering the full extent of her abilities. I wonder if Lin is right to be concerned about when that happens, will Naru feel betrayed by Mai and Eugene? I imagine it will be extremely complicated for him feelings wise. Hopefully he’ll see reason though.

I definitely didn’t get the notification for this update so I’m gonna have to fiddle with my settings because I can’t stand to potentially miss out on an update on this awesome fic. I love seeing how Mai and Narus bond is really starting to take effect. I can’t wait to see the fallout of Naru learning about it too, Lins right it’s gonna be messy haha. As always I’m so so happy to have more of this to read, I’m excited to see how this case moves forward!
