|Reviews for A Good Man's Day|
| Cheion chapter 1 . 6/27
*sobbing loudly* this is so heartbreaking but beautiful! I can totally imagine John doing this for Sherlock, and Sherlock/Mycroft reacting the way you've written them to.
-runs off to cry some more-
| CosmicEssence chapter 1 . 9/10/2016
this is so unbearably saddening its uhhhh its quite possibly something I wish I'd never seen or read for that matter.
| Fyreheart chapter 1 . 3/17/2016
Incredibly poignant with beautiful characterizations. Very well done!
| Book girl fan chapter 1 . 12/2/2015
The only ending more tragic than the Fall - if it wasn't Sherlock who Fell.
| Mari Wollsch chapter 1 . 7/28/2015
| Obscured Angel chapter 1 . 4/2/2014
This was both brilliant and incredibly sad.
I liked the way you wrote John, him seeing Sherlock's preparations for death and the way you wrote his death and Sherlock's reaction to it.
Thanks for writing and posting
| Meiyo no Ko chapter 1 . 1/2/2014
Right... Right in the feels there...
| Fang's Fawn chapter 1 . 11/10/2013
John's note on his blog to Sherlock is so breathtakingly JOHN that I found myself choking up. It's exactly what I'd picture he'd write in such a circumstance. And the last line of the story was beautiful, too. Well done.
| Floatfoot chapter 1 . 11/2/2013
| Convenient Alias chapter 1 . 10/26/2013
I can imagine that, Sherlock just kind of living on for years and years, and all his friends kind of wonder why he isn't more close to anyone, and it's because he'll never get as close to anyone as he was to John...
Just me reading into the last line.
It was a good story, but so very depressing.
| Knyle Borealis chapter 1 . 9/7/2013
...that was the saddest thing I've ever read. I am literally wiping my eyes. God, I hate/love you. JOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNN!
| ButterscotchCandybatch chapter 1 . 9/5/2013
OMG, how sad - and the last line is so perfect! Wow, just that. I can't think of anything else to say.
| soul-artist-RiSK chapter 1 . 8/19/2013
oh my god
this is all your fault
you made me cry
and I DON'T cry
Seriously though it is the rare author (or authoress) that can elicit an external emotional response from me. I may be sad but it usually doesn't manifest in tears. Your characterization of Sherlock and John is spot on and although the particular writing style you employed isn't one I usually enjoy you made it work very well.
