(Sorry this was so long in coming D:)
This was just... amazing.
"Sometimes he dreams of Sherlock Holmes offering something different and unfathomable and his heart taps out a tune by Bach."
That was when i started crying. And i didn't stop for the entire thing. Oh God.
You just wrote this so beautifully, i could practically see John's face, (which didn't help with the whole crying situation btw) :P
"hands interwoven as the street pounds beneath their feet."
Yes. This. Broke my heart.
"Most of the time he says nothing until he's offered the sky again, and then he says "Oh God, yes," just like last time."
And, that's when the sobbing started. Right there. Here, you might as well keep my heart - it's all broken now anyways.

Oh, God, the FACE.
Lol. Very neat. Some nice images, well done... it's nice how everyone in the fandom is writing the same things at the moment and they all still manage to come up with one or two lines that are beautiful and unique.
That miracle line of Freeman's was my undoing.

Good stuff, well written, I liked it when Henry Knight sent a letter saying that Sherlock could not have been a fake :)

So sad, so sad. I can really imagine that this is what it's like for John. *sigh* Why Sherlock? WHY!

Awesome! I hope you continue this. Please please do. My sanity is at stake after watching Reichenbach.
