| mistakenot chapter 1 . 10/17/2012
Forcing the reader to pay attention to cues other than names gives this piece an unusual quality. Since it's short, the experiment stayed intense rather than tedious.
It was interesting to reread it, paying special attention to details, though I'm still not sure I've got everything. Who was the woman in the first scene? Kyon's mother? And was Sasaki called simply because she was an old friend, or did Kyon mumble her name or something while still unconscious?

This style of writing was somehow intense. You need to figure out exactly what happened and who the characters are all the time. Which makes you more focused I guess.
The only thing I didn't figure out was the "a glimpse of the characters suggesting a last name - 'Tada...'" part (I guess Haruhi threw him her megaphone?).
