First opinions of Misu: I like her, she's very fitting in this setting. As for her unusually hostile attitude, I believe she thinks katniss is a *coughskankcough* or that she has an entire character backstory of her being behind katniss in... something. Could be jealousy from difference in lives, Idk, but whatever the connection is, it feels stronger than what should be between two strangers.

I just want to comment that you using a slur as a way to portray a character is not indicative to your personal beliefs unlike what people made you think. As a writer, you are not your characters. Your characters could be homophobic, transphobic or racist and it doesn't mean that you are and it shouldn't stop you from giving your characters flaws. People should know that. Give writers creative freedom and stop assuming what they are just because of their characters used a slur. And this is coming from a member of LGBTQA. Let writers give their character real life flaws. The moment you stifle a creator because "Omg, I find that offensive" is the moment you kill their creative freedom. It's like telling GRRM that he is a rapist because he writes rape in his books. Think about that before you accuse an author, just because of a slur. Let them use words to tell a fucking story, to convey a character's personality, negative or otherwise.

So disappointed that you never posted the rest of the trilogy you talked about. Come back and write more. You did an excellent job. Brought forth the very interesting fact that while the Hunger Games was not a Love Story that without Karniss's deep affection for the good and kind boy there would have been no rebellion. Snow was right, Crane should have blown her to pieces if they wanted to avoid a rebellion. That or not create the pretend and cruel rule change to begin with. Katniss would have felt bad about his death after he saved her and would have been haunted for eternity, but she wouldn't have ignited the fire of rebellion. Much like the capitols unintentional creation of the Mockingjay, there lust for constant entertainment and drama unintentionally created "The Mockingjay" that brought them to their knees.

I always feel bad for the fics were everyone just plays him for fool, even if it's with the best intentions. I just can't imagine being comfortable or at ease with Katniss after this. Not even for the act being recorded, personally though that's a deal breaker, but in Peeta's case the lack of trust or even attempt to share some kind of knowledge?

I’m back to my hunger games mode and I found this fic and I must say I’m hooked and definitely looking forward how this story goes!

I can easily imagine a world where this was the version of the hunger games that got released instead of Suzanne's version! Even without any hunger games knowledge anyone would easily be able to follow along, while keeping them captivated the entire time!

So far, I have been extremely impressed. You seemed to have mastered Suzanne Collins writing still along with incorporating a good amount of humour. The "hello again cheese buns" was great!

Misu has let her hate consume her, she's jeolous of Katniss and directs her anger and resentment and grief at innocents. Trying to hurt Peeta to make Katniss suffer is more than not right, it's cowardly because she's scared of showing hatred to the Capitol and instead does it to those who really mourns for Gale. I don't like this, i can hardly bring myself to pity her. She should hate Snow and the games, it's unreasonable she hates Peeta.
But the story is really wonderful. I hope she realizes how wrong it is to target the innocent, they don't deserve the cruelty.

I liked the idea of the story and it was well thought out...but Katniss was very out of character which made it difficult to read in her perspective.
