|Reviews for Doll|
| Raberba girl chapter 1 . 6/7/2012
Such a sad poem... It flows so well, and it's so long, it's impressive!
One technical thing is that it should be "sewn," not "sown"
"(It's not very true, but I don't really mind)" ;; Poor Xi. It's like that horrible image in the manga of all those faceless dolls...
So sad that she can barely see, how helpless she is, and yet it's cool that the ones who take her off the shelf are people who will love her and can be trusted. :)
The bit about hide and seek reminded me of the game, where you have to chase Xion around...
"chains of memories" I love references like that!
Poor, poor Xion. She's had such a rough lot in life. They all do, but you captured hers very well, the quiet sadness that still has some hope in it.
| FireWolfHeart chapter 1 . 1/23/2012
... I think Xion needs to hug an Axel. He always cheers her up.
| anonymous chapter 1 . 1/21/2012
The poetry flowed real well throughout the piece and how it compared to Xion's life; a life that seems to be lesser than a Nobody's. I also agree with you about a toy's fate; it reminded me about Toy Story 3.
| Taliax chapter 1 . 1/21/2012
I think you meant to say 'pursued' in the first line, but it says 'perused.' ; I tend to make mistakes like that and not notice them, so I just thought I'd point that out.
Anyway, I love how you use the metaphor of an actual toy doll to compare to Xion's life. You're right, the fate of a toy really is sad. ;_; This whole thing reminded me a little bit of Toy Story 3.
'(It's not very true, but I don't really mind)' Was especially heartbreaking. She knows she could easily be replaced (if Vexen was still around) but she wants to feel like she's special.
Ahhh this makes me want to cry. That means it's awesome. Yay for other people besides me writing Xion poetry! :D *needs to type up the one I just wrote*
