It's like High School Alias! So excited to finally see this; I've so been looking forward to it.

I love the little details that demonstrate the gloomy... The litter blowing across the football field, the weather, even the disconcerting way Bella's street is torn up to fix the gas leak.

I love that there's so much history between them and they have to pretend to discover each other. :)

Your writing, as always, is filled to the brim with beautiful imagery... Tic tac toe from the chain link fence? Love.

Quasi- not psudo-dystopian? Let us be fastidious in our terms. Let it rip - I'm game for the ride! My Kindle is full of dystopian, end of the world novels. But then I read Orwell's 1984 when I was ten (well before the actual title year!)

WOW WOW WOW WOW! Seriously, I am HOOKED. I was hooked about halfway through this first chapter! What a creative idea, and I can already tell I'm going to love these two working together. I'm secretly hoping that this assignment will require them to become boyfriend/girlfriend. ;)

I also love that even though these kids are behave as much older than their young years say, that you still have them acting like teenagers. :) (I love that he was looking at porn, lol!)
