| ScopesMonkey chapter 1 . 1/23/2012
Well you know I love this! What I really love about it is the elegant simplicity. It's so well characterized in so few sentences. Sherlock is not a flower-giving man, nor is John a flower-receiving man. They don't need those kind of romantic gestures; they prefer action and adventure. They are so quintessentially Sherlock Holmes and John Watson here. Yet Sherlock remembers who is important to him and who brought him that most important person. It's so understated and beautiful. It's love.
