That was so moving! I wept for her.
| cravingedward chapter 1 . 3/16/2012
That was a beautiful story...I lost a child at 19 weeks and although she was not fully developed she was my baby and I loved her and I got to spend a few minutes with her and I held her and told her I loved her. I was able to do this because I chose to be induced and deliver her naturally vs a DNC which is similar to an abortion. And holding my best friends new born a few days later did make me feel better...

shell - Thank you and congratulations on a job well done. Stillbirth is a heartbreaking reality for many women as is the loss of a child through miscarriage, SIDS or any other means. I've also seen many women who are unable to conceive, truly suffer the "loss" of a child as well - the loss of one that will never be. Very, very difficult. All need a gentle touch and sensitive handling as do the fathers who - although they may grieve differently - feel this loss as well.
You've handled this subject with respect and have left Bella and Edward in a hopeful, healing place. The name was perfect, as was Edward's line: "Abby has a little sister." Although these little ones may leave earth, they will always be in the minds and hearts of their parents...as they should be.
For myself and other women who have experienced the painful loss of a child who is stillborn - or any loss of a child - a warm thank you.

| Demons4eva chapter 1 . 3/9/2012
I am lucky to say I have had two beautiful live births and have never had to go through the pain and loss of miscarriage or still birth. This little one shot is just beautiful in it's simple message about love and support.
| Rebadams7 chapter 1 . 2/22/2012
Each heart is unique. Perhaps the holding of the little one confirms that those empty arms will still work to care in the future. The knowledge was a sign of the connection that was beyond conscious comprehension

as a pregnant woman that is a horrible fic to read...maybe add a warning to the summary...it is well written but i was totally unprepared...ok, now i am gonna read the fic phoenix rec'd...
| 181athena chapter 1 . 1/26/2012
So well written. The story has a really interesting vibe, almost absent but still very involved in the emotions of the characters. I could not imagine how it terrible it would be to loose a baby like that, but the vibe that this story had, it really seemed very accurate to how I would expect to feel in that situation: As though the events were happening to me, but like I was looking at it all from the outside.

WOW! THIS WAS EMOTIONAL AND DEEP. GREAT JOB SHOWING HOW EDWARD CARED FOR BELLA EVEN THOUGH HE DIDNT EVEN KNOW HER, AND HOW HE LET HER MEET HIS NEPHEW.
| suemason chapter 1 . 1/26/2012
Heartbreaking. It must have been difficult to write. You did well.
