Huh. Who'da thunk it? Kasumi is the LAST person I would have thought of. First up was Nabiki. ::chuckles:: Poor Kasumi. If ever anyone deserved happiness, it's her.

Ah, Edgar Allen Poe. Truly I mus commend you for fine taste, even though the twist wasn't quite as startling as some of your other works.

And by this prose is vaunted Poe honored. Great is the word of Poe and great is the word of Reynolds. You don't happen to have a FictionPress account, do you?

| Scooter chapter 1 . 5/15/2002
Very well written. I almost felt as though Poe himself wrote the piece. Theft? No. Plagarism? No. I really enjoyed it. Up until the end, I thought it was Nabiki who did it. Nice twist of fate.

Reading this, I felt like I was eating some dessert of very fine quality. The texture held me, first of all.
It started out kinda 'Cask Of Amontillado-y'(It's been a long time since I've read Poe's version of your story). I was expecting the narrator to be someone else, but in retrospect, I suppose I'm not surprised. :)
Lovely story. Thanks for sharing.
