Reviews for Calamity Jane Meets Dr Isles, Medicine Woman |

![]() ![]() Thank you, for a beautiful journey. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Of course I've read this. I don't think it's possible to be a full fledged part of the Rizzles fandom without reading the Calamity Jane series. I think the part that I remember most (mind you, I read this months ago) is Maura kissing Jane's cheek under the mistletoe. Something about that feels so...authentic. Your writing is...delightful, emotional, beautiful...and maybe even...everlasting, yeah. I don't think I'll ever forget this one. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thoroughly enjoyable read and well written. Thank you for sharing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story was sooooooo good. I cannot WAIT to start reading the sequel! You're such a genius for this one. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So perfect! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Such an amazing chapter. I actually wept. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lol. Frost and Jane together are hilarious! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love Jane's playfulness as well as the way you've incorporated all the characters into the story! So amazing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Holy Hannah, I'm in love with this story! Just started and I won't stop until I'm finished. The very first line got me ADDICTED. Expect more reviews from me! Love and light! -Desi |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love it! Love it! Love it! Without fail, every time I read it I fall in love with it all over again :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Started reading this story today but I had to stop in the middle of this chapter (15) to review and geek out because WAS THAT A GILMORE GIRLS REFERENCE? :) I'm a huge fan of Gilmore Girls and new fan of Rizzoli and Isles. Anyway, I'm really loving this story and how much it feels like Rizzles in spite of the different time period. I can't wait to read more. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for this truly amazing story! I have to atmit that at first I don't wanted to read your story, because this Western-thing doesn't touches me. But then I couldn't resist anymore, because your work shall be the best here on ...and yeah! Now I know why. It's really, really great stuff you wrote! I love, love, love how you create the characters and you can follow every step of their relationship. And you doesn't skip anything like "oh, it's to hard to write, just get over", no you wrote everything, every angst and doubt and trouble that might come in their way. And really, it's amazing what you did! So, thank you for this story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I rarely like completely AU stories, but I came across this and thought I would give it a go. Safe to say, read the whole thing and couldn't put it down. Don't even think I've eaten today as I've been so captivated. Really well written, thank you for posting it. ON TO THE SEQUEL! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome story I just had to leave a comment which I rarely unfortunately seem to do. I admit I generally pass over T-rated stories I like my fanfiction to have a bit more smut to go with the storyline but this held my interest nicely. Off to read the sequel no doubt that will be eqeally as engaging. Just wondering if you'd ever write any fanfiction for the Lena/Stef ship from abcfamilys The Fosters? Its a pretty new show so there's not a lot out there for them but I find myself wanting to read some nice multi chapter fic about them. Anyways great work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I can't even think of what to write as a review to this chapter. It all feels so inadequate. But I'll try to express at least part of what I'm thinking. I love the way you write Jane. She's such a poet. But it's almost like she's a reverse poet a lot of the times. Instead of taking really simple things and making them flowery and complex and impenetrable, she (um, you) takes really complicated things like love and sexuality and devotion and bigotry and really breaks them down into their elemental parts. The effect is stunning. So open and honest. I'm completely in love with both of them, but she truly blows me away. Ive read this part of that beautiful proposal so many times: "I guess what I'm tryin' to ask is if you'd share your life, your future with me. I know I ain't always polite as I should be, or clean or patient or nice, but I love you so much it hurts." |
