Reviews for Calamity Jane Meets Dr Isles, Medicine Woman |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() Like I mentioned in a previous review, I feel Hoyt sitting chuckling on my shoulder. I want to yank him off my shoulder and crush him under my Caterpillar boots! Me? Bloodthirsty? Nah! |
![]() ![]() ![]() That must be a sight of such wonder. Looking at the sky above with no city lights distracting you from the wonders above. Jane and Maura had such fun! My brother and myself had howling competitions when we were much younger. It was exhilarating, free. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Kikiki! Once again, Jane and Maura have fooled Giovanni. It does not appear to take a hell of a lot, now does it? Your pacing of Rizzles is just perfect, I think. |
![]() ![]() ![]() LOL! I can now totally understood why Jane did not want to go to Gilberti. Especially as his son is Giovanni. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Garret booking Maura into the boarding house for six months; Maura being curious about kissing; Angela suggesting that Jane should spend more time with Maura and become more of a lady: All of this is gently but certainly pushing Jane and Maura nearer towards each other. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great! *big smile* An innocent playfulness that turned into a frightening experience. I also think it is an eye opener for both women, knowing exactly how accurate and deadly each of them can be with their chosen weapons. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah. Jane and Maura has become true friends here, I think. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting. So this is how Jane became sexually aware. Also that the ladies liked her as Jake Wyatt. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, the broken nose incident. Just in a total different setting. But it still has the same impact of leaving you wondering if there might be something more between these two beautiful women. |
![]() ![]() ![]() And the mystery around Jane 'Jake Wyatt' is starting to lift slightly. Have to read more. Hoyt is sitting on my shoulder chuckling evilly. |
![]() ![]() ![]() LOL! Brilliant sarcastic humour. Maura has opened a can of worms for me with all her questions about Jake Wyatt. She has me extremely curious now about Jane. |
![]() ![]() ![]() LOL! This is so perfectly Jane and Maura. You have their characters spot on. Perfectly accurate. The sarcastic humour is very delightful. I love it! I love the roles that you have for everyone. The sheriff is Korsak. Jane's sidekick is Frost. The coward couch driver is Crowe. I think this one is perfectly casted. By the sounds of it, it would seem that Angel is the saloon owner. Love all of it! *shock and horror* I just proof read this and it would appear that I am starting to repeat myself. Numerous times declaring my love. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh WOW! You definitely have my attention. I have read a multitude of Rizzoli and Isles Fan Fiction stories in the last 18 months. This is the first Western I have come across. I agree with the reviewer that said that this is the best opening sentence to Fan Fiction that they have ever read! ' "Calamity" Jane Rizzoli had a voice like sin.' Jane's voice immediately draws pictures of the most wicked fantasies. Yummy! The writing of this first chapter is excellent. It has me anticipating reading the other 49 chapters that follow. You have a new follower and fan. |
![]() ![]() :) great story! |
![]() ![]() Wow! 7 years since this was first published and I've just read this wonderful story, again, 'cover to cover'. Since the slow deterioration (after season 2) of the programme, and its eventual demise, the lack of new stories in number and quality has led me to start to re read the 'classics' in this fandom. And this is definately up there with the best of the best! It's so well written, original, so in character, and such a beautiful love story that gets better and better with each reading. You are an incredible writer and bring so much joy with your work. And now I have the sequel to look forward to (again!). Hope life is good for you and you continue to write. On that note I would just LOVE it if you ever find the energy and motivation to finish 'A Broken Hallelujah'. Another wonderful story of yours. Take care and thank you so much for sharing your writing. X |
