I mean, I know you wrote this story a bajillion years ago. But I just found it now, and I gotta say Thank You. I think this may be the 1st Castle fanfic that captured them perfectly. There was not one sentence that brought me out of it. The lightness and the heaviness you nailed it. I mean no pressure but I will legit be comparing all other Castle fanfics to this one. And even though its been forever I just wanted you to know!

This was one of the most fun scenarios I've read of our favorite pair. There were so many tender moments and role playing a married couple in therapy brought those tough feelings to the surface. The Josh II character, smarmy as he was, made me laugh. I wonder if ep 8x08 "Mr and Mrs Castle" was inspired/influenced by this story. Your story had the perfect mix of drama, humor, tension, and romance (and was phenomenally written). Absolutely loved it.

That was amazing! And mercifully reduced in angst from some of your other (although still brilliant) stuff.

I mostly get why, in the show, Castle was so crushed by the way he found out that Beckett remembered. It wasn't just that she had, it was that she was willing and able to admit it to a random perp, when she was so unable to admit it to him. That was the betrayal. But here, having her admit it because she sees how hurt Castle is, made it into something wonderful.

The swingers stuff was rather hilarious. Even the possible mystery plot was alright. But the fluff was the best! So fluffy :)

This story was INCREDIBLE, really. S4 fics without a huge drama around the lies (Castle reacting like a jackass, Beckett apologizing etc ...) are my weakness, and this one was seriously fantastic.
