Reviews for Neither A Soldier Nor A Gentleman |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hello to you in 2022! It's a well-written Adlock story, and I really enjoyed it! I totally agree with the idea of Sherlock becoming more human after rescuing Irene in Karachi. I hope you will continue writing more Adlock fanfictions in the future (Maybe another update for Acid Test? Since it is another sequel in this series). Anyway, well done! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh. My. God ! Your fic was wonderful ! Exploring that far their emotions and their motivations, was utterly brilliant. Your attention to details plunged me completely into Sherlock universe. The vivid but not crass sex scenes made my day. Thank you for writing ! |
![]() ![]() This is brilliant, though in a way it hurt. But the oddest thing is I saw myself in this story I can't exactly explain it as I have never been in such a situation nor do I have Sherlock or Irene's personalities but for some odd reason this reminded me of myself and I have absolutely no Lidea why. Anyway your writing is beautiful and captivating and it has a fully formed plot and twisting conversations (I had partly ignore a lot of the M chapters) . wonderful |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm reading this again. I love it. I love you. You're a treasure. |
![]() ![]() Fantastic, bloody fantastic! |
![]() ![]() Lovely story so far, i particularly love ur insight into Sherlocks mind; Fabulous! That quote from HP: OFTP is why I will NEVER ship Hermione and the Weasle(Ron), well that and a whole slew of other reasons! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I LOVED THIS OH MY GOSH! The writing was brilliant. The characterization was brilliant. The plot was brilliant. I read it all in a day. |
![]() ![]() Thank you. I have been reading and rereading this story for the past five years. I have read all of your fics and they are so good, so thoughtfully written, so exciting. I deeply appreciate all the time and effort you put into them. |
![]() ![]() Freaking. Amazing. I need to read again. I couldn't stop. Well done! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I thought I reviewed this story a long time ago, but it turns out I didn't, so I'm here to rectify that! I'm in awe at your talent of both writing and for getting into Sherlock's psyche so flawlessly (and I love that we didn't get an Irene POV - we see her only through Sherlock's eyes). I think these might be the most tasteful M-rated scenes I've ever read, and certainly my favourite that I've ever come across (no pun intended). I'm on my way to re-read Sui Generis now! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I can't even begin to say how much i loved this fic. You are an insanely talented autor. You've brought such nuance and depth to these character without making them corny that i just... wow. And also i have to say that you've written the most elegant lemons that i've ever read on a fanfiction. Kudos to you. Keep on writing, you're awsome! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you so much for this wonderful story! It's easily the best piece of Adlock I've ever read. Sherlock and The Women must be incredibly hard to write, but you just nailed it. The last chapter and epilogue made me cry, so I dearly hope you will continue writing 'Sui Generis' ... |
![]() ![]() ![]() I absolutely adored this fic. Thank you for writing it and taking me along on that journey. On another note, the violin piece you refer to in the epilogue fits beautifully. I will listen to it more than once, that I can guarantee. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I actually don't remenber if I have ever left a message (probably not because when I first read it I was afraid of writing in English) but once I am reading it for the 5th time I NEED to say how terribly grateful I am for this fic. It is the greatest Adlock's fic ever written, no doubt! You are a genius. Understanding Sherlock's and Irene's complex minds is a gift and a challenge at the same time. Congrats for doing it so amazingly. I'm looking forward for the next chapter of Sui Generis |
![]() ![]() ![]() I have never read anything more perfect. |
