Really? He didn’t tell him about the reason for needing to learn occlumency or that Voldemort could plant false memories in his mind. He didn’t tell him about the prophecy or that he’s the reason his parents were murdered and he was placed with the Dursleys. He’s lied to him and lied about him nonstop. He’s also lied about Sirius and is responsible for Pettigrew getting away. When he returned to Voldemort’s side, he could have easily engineered a way to capture Lily’s betrayer without the blame falling to himself, but he never bothered.

Please don’t let this be another Snape apologist fic.

The man took off points for him reading his own book outside, stole the book from him claiming it was a library book (when it was a Christmas present), and never gave it back. If that doesn’t scream evil, I don’t know what else does. Stealing presents from an orphan - an orphan of your own making?
