Oh, I liked this. Painful and beautiful at the same time. I like how you let House come out of his shell so very slowly, how it takes time for him to shed prison, even after he's left.
The worry and hesitation in Wilson was spot on, as was the later anger about House not letting him visit. House wouldn't have let him see, that's absolutely right. I like your reasoning here, he was protecting Wilson.

A mostly tragic story. The sad thing about the series is that it left me feeling that these despairing projections of House's later life are plausible.

That was a nice trip back to the good days of Wilson and House. A bit angsty but good.
