   Darknessdawns chapter 10 . 5/2 I am honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed this piece. At first I wasn't sure what to think about it. I've never read one where Harry is actually James's younger brother before this. However I liked how Harry was written and his animosity towards his family was well explained. I also liked that he still had the brother wand to Voldemort and that he was drawn to dark magic, especially the Dark Lord's. The transition from Harry contemplating being a 'Lord' in his own right to happily following Tom was well written and fit with his lust for dark magic and Voldemort's specifically. On the subject of lust, I was again surprised. I've read a few harem fics and ones where Harry just enjoys himself with whoever, but this is the first where he actively becomes a playboy. I know there must be others out there but this is the first I read like that and it worked very well for this version of his character, the added darkness was a nice bonus as well. Anyway this was a wonderful story and I enjoyed everything about it, especially the dark parts. |
