You use words as a painter uses colours and a sculptor uses marble. It's really beautiful and pleasing to read as there's some kind of harmony and softness in your words. You made trees and grass and woods talk while the soul of your characters sang to the reader, and it was impressive. I hope, even after all those years, you're still writing, ff, novels, poems, random things, anything really. You're really talented

I'm way late to this party but wow I am so glad I just discovered this story and got to read it all at once, losing myself in the scenes and the language and the atmosphere and the love story... It was a little like falling in love with Castle and Beckett all over again and it was magical. I really just got lost in the magic of this story... The way you use language here, your metaphors and descriptions and word choicesit's amazing, so lyrical and palpable, like I was there with them hearing the whisper of the grass or feeling the heat of the bathroom... You were able to lend the whole story such a quiet feel, and such a sense of inevitabilityI love stories like that, that capture a mood like that, that wrap around your senses. And I love the way you "get" both characters, your grasp on the struggles and fears they both faced at that time. It's perfect, truly a wonderful, captivating read. Thank you!
