| Mad Library Scientist chapter 2 . 5/22
Sequel, you say... Better get to finishing this one, then!
| Zyenna chapter 5 . 5/1
I can't wait to see where you take this story. It's going to be very interesting...
| Amanthya chapter 5 . 3/28
I like your slower, more realistic pacing and the seriousness of the issues that come with bonding. And I feel like Lily putting her trust in the wrong person, just as James did, was not only a nice change but deepens the betrayal we feel on her and Harry's behalf. As some would say, hits you right in the feels.
| Talia-Elizabeth chapter 5 . 1/24
Been almost 2 yrars.:( update
| Runecutter chapter 5 . 12/17/2014
Aw this was really cool. Another small logic hole fixed and filled up with pure and wonderful logic.
Of course Lily would have hoped the family connection would allow Petunia to overlook her grievances... *sigh* But how would we ever know without gorgeous stories like this? Canon does never spend second thoughts on important stuff like that. And then to turn and make them more hateable because now nobody can find out about Sirius from Lily's letter... so bitter-sweet a feeling that is.
I hope some day your frustration about the computer melt down will settle and you'll find it in your heart to continue this wonderful exploration of the books from a much clearer-eyed perspective and much more logical in its conception. It's rare to find those on this pages, rarer still to find them well written and without major flaws of their own and it's heartbreaking to find out when/if they're unfinished and all but given up to die... Great works deserve to see their own completion!
| Runecutter chapter 4 . 12/17/2014
This is simply awesome.
Only by reading fanfiction so well worded and carefully built you start to realize how lacking the stuff JKR wrote really is from an adult point of view. They are (especially the first 2 or 3) wonderful childrens or YA literature, but there's so much wrong with them. and a lot in this story puts a finger right in the deepest bit of that wound...
| CatAnimagus chapter 1 . 11/17/2014
I agree with you about Harmony when they are really young. It's ridiculous how some writers pair people together in a 'soul-bond' when they are 11/12. That's way too young. I do like your story and can't wait to see where it goes from here. Will it be very AU?
| Philosophize chapter 4 . 11/14/2014
Please don't abandon this...
| Iceflame55 chapter 5 . 10/26/2014
I just now started this story, so I'm hopeful for updates sooner or later :). That said, I'll speculate. I can see this kind of story, it's similar to a Harry/Ginny one called Bonds of Blood, and I can see similar events, as far as the two getting used to it. I'd also say, I can see the Bond giving back to them to compensate for the not so fun elements with possibly a stronger magic, as they both are sharing what will likely be a very LARGE amount of magic between them.
It could be their young ages, at a time when their cores are naturally growing might affect the end result by multiplying their strength. They might start showing unique abilities, that could become family traits (a possible start of many family magical traits, perhaps? :)
| Mad Library Scientist chapter 1 . 4/12/2014
I hope is story will continue. It's been nearly a year since the last update...
| The Burning Heart chapter 5 . 4/1/2014
Lovely Story and I hope you continue.
| Lanzecki chapter 5 . 3/26/2014
Love to see an update. I'm enjoying this!
| Publicola chapter 4 . 3/18/2014
Wow. This is extraordinarily well done. I like how unflinchingly you portray the Dursely's abuse and neglect of Harry, while also allowing us a glimpse into their perspective and why they might behave that way. I also appreciate the moment of realization on Dumbledore's part, though I hope he'll take a moment to recognize his own negligence and failures. All around, minimal bashing but exceptionally well drawn characterizations.
