![]() ![]() ![]() Awwwwwww, love that their son's name is William. Adorable. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, my this is just the most adorable thing ever in the history of ever - Matthew reading to his baby son every night and Mary, hearing them, and savouring the moment. Delightful. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Matthew reading children's books with Dan Steven's voice? YOU WROTE THE DREAM. I love tender Matthew, so awestruck at the sight and weight of his son. The way he'd try to feed him himself, so that he wouldn't have to wake Mary. The fact it's their moment, their night, an appointment he'd never miss. And I'm pretty obsessed with Matthew's long, lean fingers (ahem) (I have stared at him holding a gun for quite some time) so imagining this little baby sucking on his father's finger was beyond adorable. Also, I'm jealous but let's not dwell on that. I want a sequel. Please? Chop chop :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ugh TOO CUTE. Matthew/babies OTP FOREVER. Aaaahhhhh. Daddy!Matthew is just the best, and you imagine him so wonderfully! Reading... oh, preparing the milk himself, and.. gaaaahhhh. And that you brought up his army-cultivated instincts, with listening out for it and not waking Mary... Oh, beautiful. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, I loved your story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() this is so adorable. I love the idea of Matthew reading to his baby, I can definitely see him being so involved, even if it wasnt the fashion at the time. one tiny suggestion: maybe this should be set a little later on, say when the little cutie is 6 months or so? Babies don't really laugh until 3 or 4 months and he would really only be drinking his mama's milk (or formula) that young. But maybe I'm just being a picky mommy ;) Oh and I do love this line: "She pressed her ear against the door; smiling and feeling tears prickle in her eyes at this tender moment between father and son." Such a clear image. |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG, this is TOO ADORABLE FOR WORDS. Also MATTHEW READING, OMG. :D I can just picture this sweet little story, and the idea of Matthew getting up with his son in the middle of the night *and* cooking milk and being all domestic is just...SIGH. :) And Mary seeing them, but not saying anything was a perfect touch! What a wonderful sequel - I so enjoyed it! :) Keep writing! :D |
