I absolutely love this story, but since you mention reviews, I have to thank you for the absolutely glorious detail, a few chapters back, of having John Watson alias Martin Freeman alias Arthur Dent quote "Don't Panic".
I have to force myself to stop here before the showdown because it's past midnight again and I can't go two nights in a row not sleeping enough although, yes, your stories are worth it! Your style is witty and eloquent and intelligent and surprising and emotional and, clearly, you are an excellent author.

Verity, I know this fic has been posted for years, but I only found it a few months ago (and have read it three times plus everything else you've posted on this site). I'm begging you to leave your stories here for ever - I'm only panicking because a Harry Potter fic I'd been re-reading for years has suddenly disappeared - as I can't imagine being without them! If they were in book form they would be disgustingly dog-eared by now, but wouldn't that be fantastic to have a Sherlock shelf groaning with your actual books :)

i really love your story! its rare with fanfiction that the romance plot doesnt revolve around miscommunication but you never once utilise it but instead its all about communicating their needs etc. I think its a really realistic story and it their actions always feel appropriate to the characters! thank you!

I cracked up about the woman’s age thing in this chapter, because I could just imagine Sherlock having a devil of a time figuring out my age. I look nearly 15-17 years younger than I am, and I never give away my age, only tell them ‘thank you for the compliment’ and grin at them. I find it funny other people seem to have a hard time figuring out my age. Though if they do manage to get it right I have no problem saying so. But if someone is like Sherlock that relies on the typical female reaction of correcting an over or under estimation to finding there real age, they would be out of luck with me. lol which made the whole scenario funny.

Well, I'm back reading the story. Again. Every year it seems I return. :) Love it.

This chapter has to be one of the most erotic pieces of literature I've read in a LONG time. It's impressive because I have read hundreds of hardcore stuff, but the diction here is just 10/10

Wow, this story is really amazing. I’ve read 100s of fics, and I think it would be fair to say this is probably in the top 5 most well written ones I’ve ever read. Not to mention it’s alluring and suspenseful and true to character and just an all around fantastic read. I think it’s progressing at the perfect pace, not rushed but not too slow, perfect control, and your dialogue is still spot on. I am thoroughly enjoying it!
