| triplexxx chapter 1 . 11/24/2017
It's a good story, really befits Dimmy's personality, like that Looney Tunes Show episode where Bugs gets addicted to that energy drink Spargle. Casey & Daffney trying to snap Dimmy out of it & how it constantly backfires is funny, also when Dimmy shows up at the store in his PJs (like that episode Jaws Says The Word, when Allstar gets dragged out of the house by Occy in his pink pajamas & bare feet). Dimmy looking at the picture & reflecting is warming & humorous too, saying he was a big eater back then too and did dumb things "a lot". Then of course, Junior suggesting "stealing" as a solution then coming back at the end with the same addiction problem is funny as well.

Getting addicted to something can really change someone. That's what happens to Dimmy when he becomes too attached to Coral Crunch. You tackle addiction greatly through him, and with flying colors. Fan fiction is a great form of storytelling, and you, Ryan, are one of many who can write it well.

| Lucky and Witty Number18 chapter 1 . 5/27/2012
Hi again Ryan,
This was a really good story and it was very well written. You really captured each of the characters' distinct personalities and the interactions between them were spot on.
You took a really serious issue (addiction) and presented in a humorous yet morally sound way. I liked it how the picture made Dimmy realize what he was losing and helped him overcome his addiction.
I also liked how you played up the advertising aspect of the candy, most kids don't realize how commercials are tailored to appeal to them and subtly influence them into buying a product; good job in capturing that.
I will admit that I felt bad for Junior at the end, but if he didn't steal in the first place, he wouldn't have facilitated his addiction.
As I said in my "Too Good to be True" review, keep up the good work.

Reminds me of the funny situations in my own stories, good work.
