This is so sad and bitter-sweet. The boys are so lost without each other.
Now, unlike some fans, I was actually quite fond of Lisa and Ben, and I feel they added another important facet to the show's theme of Family. Also, in many ways, those two definitely saved Dean's life after Sam went to hell. He wouldn't have survived 'civilian' life if not for them.
It was a little sad that the fandom was so eager to dimiss them once they had served their purpose.
Cheers for this different perspective on things, hon.

I'm reading. :D
Really liked this. I miss Lisa and Ben. :( I hope they run across each other in Show sometime. Wasn't sure she was real here for a minute. Thought maybe he was hallucinating her like he was Sam. Glad she was real.
Nicely done. :)

This is such a sad picture of Dean after Sam went to hell. Lisa did care enough to go looking for him.

*Raise that kid to be the man you are. Love her back."
"Not me, Sammy. Not the man I am. You."*
That's the perfect thing for him to say.

Oh, this was a bitter sweet tale but powerfully told.
I really liked how you explored Sam's promise and how it affected Dean in more detail, I always thought the show kind of bypassed the impact it must have had on Dean.
Great fic, it's always a treat to see new fic from you. Take care, Abbi

Great job! I couldn't have asked for more.
I'd always believed there was no way Dean could have just settled down immediately and forgotten all about Sam, and your story has just added to my belief.
Thank you so much for taking the challenge and running with it; it's great to see your work back on here, I've missed it.
Catch you soon,
