| The Darkness Knight chapter 14 . 1/20/2013
Wow, what a story to tell! I loved every bit of the McWeston stuff! The banter between Danny and Steve was priceless! Then we have Chin and Kono, I loved every bit of it! Then we have Lori's background which was hillarious, I felt so bad for them whenever they were blocked by either Danny or Rebecca lol.
The only thing I have to say was bad was the paragrahs which focused on Williams, they were extremely hard to read because everything was kept together.
Other then that one thing, this was the best McWeston story I've ever read!
| The Darkness Knight chapter 2 . 1/20/2013
Wow! That was great, I'm just getting into this story but its really good! I love the arguments! You captured Steve and Danny exactly to the point!

| Karolina chapter 14 . 10/21/2012
Wow. I have to say that is really novel material, the way you described everything and painted a picture. It was truly beautiful. I could really feel the love and I just want to read it over and over. I think it was a great story and properly written, one of the best sotries on fanfiction. I strongly encourage you to keep on writing and I expect to hear of a book in the future of an author who started their writing carrer by writing in Fanfiction. I love the bond between lori and steve and wish there were more stories such as this, not one chapter, 700 worded but full and ones you cant stop reading as the story draws you in.
P.S Another thing I like about this story is that you didnt turn the more intimate scenes into porn, or 'lemons'. You kept the scenes about the emotional side more than the physical.
Thank You for such a good read.
| xSuperNovax chapter 14 . 9/29/2012
I absolutely LOVED this story, I thought it was amazing! You wrote the case and their romance so well. Thank you.
| Taxaceae chapter 14 . 7/8/2012
I'm glad I decided to start reading this story. I am not a Lori Weston fan (won't get into the why cause this would be the longest review then) but your summery was dead on, this was a story worth reading and you created a wonderful bond between Steve and Lori the was believable and wasn't more important than the serial killer part of the story.
Your build up to the end was wonderful and your style of writing made me want to keep on reading all night long (which I did). Am definitely following you to see what else you come up with! It's obvious you've done a lot of research for this story and I appreciate the time you put in because it made your story complete and as real as possible.
Have a few things that I missed, such as what happened to Amari. Feels like you could have finished that a little better, I want to hear his side of the story, want to know if his story will give an answer as to why his son followed him all the way to Oahu or why 'Bull' would have killed Rachel and all the blondes following after.
Also felt like FiveO could have been a bigger part of the case. You involved them but it felt too little. For example: you start a scene where Kono and Chin have an argument about Kono dating, but that lasted barely a paragraph and felt unfinished. You could have done more with that I felt, but perhaps both of these examples would have made your story too long for you.
In closing: I loved it and job well done!
| dream-eater-is-hungry chapter 14 . 5/26/2012
I held off reading this story because I wanted to save some McWeston stories for another day. As I wrote in my review in your other McWeston story, there are already too few McWeston fics and even fewer good ones. I'm glad that I decided to finally read this. This made my morning and a good part of my afternoon, and I suspect, the rest of my day. I really loved the plot/case. I thought it was very well thought out and the research that has gone into constructing the plot really shows. I really love how you managed to inject your own ideas to facts, and I especially appreciate that the delivery of said facts were not overbearing. The right amount/s of information was given at the right times.
I also adored the McWeston moments between the tension and the stress of the case. Those moments were sweet, believable and just right. It wasn't too fast, nor was it too slow. I also loved the right amount of sexual tension between them. It's push and pull, and it was really fun to read.
Also, I love how you personified Lori and Steve in this story. You made them tough when it calls for it, but also vulnerable and capable of fear (and showing fear).
On another note, I do wonder about Agent Amari. While I understand that this is a McWeston story, I wish there is some closure for his involvement in the murders. What happened to him after Markus was shot? Why did you cover his son's tracks knowing that his son was a serial killer? Did he even apologize to Lori, the Five-0 team and the FBI for hiding his knowledge, and hindering the investigation of a 3-year serial killer case?
Other than that, I am only sad that there is one less good McWeston story left for me to read. In your reply, you mentioned writing another McWeston story soon. I will be waiting for that, alright? :D
Thank you again for this wonderful story.
