I honestly don’t like Elijah/Elena, but you’ve made it work. I love the way you’ve written their family: dysfunctional, but unable to fully hate each other because they’ve known each other for 1000 years. I love how you write Klaroline, and Klaus’ relationship with his siblings. Subtle nods to how much their family means to each of them. You mastered show not tell with mannerisms and slight gestures, perfectly expressing the family dynamic and characterization. THANK YOU! I’ve sobbed so much during this story, and the plot idea fundamentally expresses a new side of these characters we haven’t seen before. I’ve absolutely gotten attached. Oh well, it was worth it. |
