| Analie Janes chapter 1 . 3/20/2012
That was definitely interesting! I liked your plot and the backstory you added of both Pandiao and June.
| gveret chapter 1 . 2/22/2012
The dialogue was the best part. Gotta love those two.
| ShoeNinja chapter 1 . 2/22/2012
This was a nice piece...you gave a lot of depth to two characters who were largely ignored in the series. I assume this was a one shot, but I actually think you've given yourself a lot to work with here if you decide to explore their exploits further.

These encounters that you write about have so much hidden meaning in them. It's great! I like how you tie Jun's childhood back with Piandao and his friendship with Ri. It really gives the two a nice connection that one might've not thought about. I am curious what happened to Jun's father, though, but I guess this isn't the appropriate fic to describe it in. Though that does give me an idea...
Anyhow, this was great. I actually found it hard to believe that Piandao would beat Jun in a arm wrestling contest, if only because Jun just appears to have more brute strength than Piandao does, and Piandao seems more finesse than might.
But that's a little critique that really doesn't matter. The story wouldn't go where it went because of that arm wrestling match, which seemed a lot more significant than just a simple match for some reason. I got the impression that it felt like a battle of acceptance. Jun, the one who always seemed to look down at all the men in the bar, only gave respect to those that beat her in the contest.
Great stories, and I think I'm going to spend the rest of my day waiting for the rest of your things to come online.
P.S. I understand if you turn off your PMs for personal reasons, but I really wanted to thank you for all the reviews you've given me (and the PMs). I just wanted to tell you that you're probably the one reason why I even got back into fanfiction as much as I did.
