AshMountian216 chapter 71 . 8/5/2019 Oh my goodness! Has it really been a hear since I last read and review this story?! I'm sorry! Between bootcamp and life changes, time has escaped me. This chapter was so worth it though. I'm honestly glad that Shadowmere stayed with Freyja. I hope she gets the happy ending she decided and reunites with Alduin. Wonder how he is going to fund her tho. |
Rasgnarok chapter 1 . 7/25/2019 I won't lie, I will reread this before I can resign myself to one last review. This breaks my heart, but at least your story will always be there, one of those unique stories younger me feverishly screenshotted to keep alive through long hours of commute. See you soon, Myrielle |
Pedro EXP chapter 72 . 7/20/2019 one of the best elder scrolls fanfiction i've read. i had a hard time getting into this one mainly because the dragonborn had already completed much of the quests but once i read the first couple of chapters i was hooked. i've loved skyrim since i first played it and this has done justice to the hours i've invested in the game. |
dingo027 chapter 13 . 7/17/2019 Because of this masterpiece I just remembered a song about Skyrim "Black Wings" by JohannaThe song is about the Dovahkiin who have doubts If she can kill Alduin, It's really worth checking out |
missingn0te chapter 72 . 7/15/2019 Thank you for such an incredible story Myrielle, you are truly gifted. What an honour it has been to witness your brilliance. This was more than I could have ever hoped for when I set my eyes on the summary. A lot of laughs, tears and inspiration. Thank you again and please, never ever stop writing! |
missingn0te chapter 65 . 7/14/2019 Incredible! "When the tears fell, they did so without shame." I can't tell you what that did to my heart. I love the depth you go into with the lore, it does make me think and open my eyes to more of the Elder Scrolls world. Really excited to keep reading and finish this story - I wonder how this chapter affected Freya. |
missingn0te chapter 41 . 7/11/2019 It's incredible how seamlessly you have made this character development. From Alduin's first few chapters, I questioned how their relationship could change but in recent chapters I haven't once thought he was out of character. You have created such a brilliant character from the World Eater, I applaud you! |
missingn0te chapter 18 . 7/7/2019 I am honestly so in awe of your descriptive writing, I've never read anything so beautiful. You take the simplest of actions and turn them into a masterful poem. I feel like I am learning so much from reading this story as well as enjoying it |
missingn0te chapter 1 . 7/3/2019 Wow, you have such a way with words! Every line is poetic with purpose, interested in what is to come in this story |
Arnold's Love chapter 15 . 6/20/2019 This has to be some of the most amazing writing I have read. And I'm not just talking about fanfiction. You have an amazingly beautiful and poetic way with words and messages and I'm eating it up! I love your characters, and the way you have weaved lure into your story but given it your own breath and spin! I'm loving every word! Hopefully you still read your reviews! I can't wait to keep reading! |
Krulla Chief chapter 72 . 4/11/2019 For the first time I wondered if Sheogorath and Sanguine were related. So uh, Freyja. There's something you need to know about the uh, the Champion and Errand Girl Martin had with him at all times during the Oblivion Crisis and what she has to do with your lineage. And don't you dare tell me this isn't canon otherwise author, both for the ship and for the hilarity. |
Ouhai chapter 72 . 2/2/2019 This has been such a long journey for me! I remember reading this years ago, waiting and waiting for updates and then staying up all night carefully reading each chapter. I’m so thrilled you’ve finished it! And what an incredible ending! The explosion scene was beautiful, and terrifying, and strange in the exact way consuming world binding magic would be. I loved the twist you put on her being the true danger, too, and the way you resolved it. Fantastic characters, fantastic writing, and a great plot. One of the best fan fictions I’ve read, if not the best, and I’ve read a ton. I will definitely keep an eye out for your original story! |
RegnartZ chapter 72 . 2/1/2019 I have no words to describe this amazing adventure that was reading this fanfic. It was even better than what I expected, it was incredible I can't say how much I enjoyed reading this, how much I loved the characters, the story, ALL OF IT. I have to say, you sir, are a freaking god in writing. This is the best skyrim fanfic I've read and I hope it stays that way because it is a masterpiece. I hope you keep making amazing stories just like this one, I really do because I'm gonna be here reading them all. |
WordOfVoid chapter 1 . 1/31/2019 Ok, I think I’m finally ready for my final review, and even though I’m slightly choked up calling it such, I can’t believe how incredible this story is. You already know how impressed I am with your dedication to the lore and even more impressed with the way you improve the story whenever you take a creative license with it. You had no problem telling the difference between what was canon and what was simply a limitation of the game. Your concept of magic being linked to understanding and perception of the surrounding world is amazingly well grounded as well as consistent throughout the story. Your ability to use descriptive wording and clear pacing allows the fight scenes to form vividly in my head as I read along. Every chapter left a feeling of suspense that motivated me to ponder the entire journey up to that point, and the cliffhangers never felt unsatisfying or frustrating between entries. You turned the robotic and relatively lifeless NPCs into real, feeling characters with unique traits and levels of intelligence and knowledge. There are some published authors who I think could stand to learn about character development from this story. Bethesda’s writers could DEFINITELY benefit from seeing the way you write in their universe. I like your portrayal of characters like Hircine, Sanguine, Akatosh, (Alduin, of course) and other gods/immortals much more than any in the games so far. It’s easy to write a god as being a loud voice that expresses an odd amount of pride at the fact that “You are a mortal and I am not” cliche. You take the extra step to express what it would truly mean to be a nearly omniscient entity with motivations beyond what would normally be clear. Finally, I’ll say this: you clearly have a talent for writing fantasy and I’m sure you can excel just as well in other genres which you take interest in. I can’t wait to see where you go from here, and I’m confident you will succeed as an author. I’ll be watching! |
Jaron Page chapter 72 . 1/21/2019 This has been a crazy ride, and it's hard to remember how many years I've been reading this. The emotions this story evoked in me made my heart beat like crazy in a way few other stories fanfic or published can match. I definitely want to check out that novel once it's finished, stuff like this makes me want to try my hand at it even if it's hard to get the confidence and creativity to take that first step. Thank you for the memories, and for telling an amazing tale. |
