this fic left me in stiches! i'm sure the neighbours thought I was having a nervous breakdown or something. The description of Sherlock in the store trying to buy milk is just soo vivid! Have to save this for a future bad day; it really put a smile on my face.

This was absolutely delightful on all possible levels and I'm going to read it again almost immediately just because I enjoyed it so much. It's funny; no, it's hilarious. It's in character. It has plot. More than that, it has good plot. It has, even better, in-character and not over the top hints of slashiness that can be ignored if the reader so chooses, a rare quality in Sherlock stories. Well, in lots of fandoms.

I find it very hard to believe that this is your first solo story in ten years. If that's true, I am really looking forward to your next story.

I now intend to read this again.

Brilliant. I had been hoping for a meeting between Cooper and Sherlock. Mycroft might not want to allow John to ever leave the country again w/out Sherlock. He has less clean up w/ them together than apart. He probably doesn't have to worry as much about Sherlock either if John is with him. I

Mycroft's comment about them sleeping together is funny. His real concern for Sherlock comes through in his almost touching Sherlock's hair. Very often in portrayals, Mycroft's looking after his brother comes off as condescending, someone he feels he has to control and/or familal duty instead genuine caring.

Please write more stories. You may not have finished anything in 10 years but skill is something you don't lack.
