Zemera chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 I love this story. John should SO write about this in his blog. Please update soon. |
celeryy chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 This is brilliant. :D I actually laughed out loud when the lady at the store hit him across the face with a loaf of bread. Also loved the deduction about the stolen painting - very well thought-out. Some of the character reactions seem like a bit of a stretch (at least for their counterparts in the actual show) - for example, John is a bit too free about sharing details about Sherlock when he's trying to keep undercover, and Sherlock way overreacts about John leaving on a week-long trip (although the whole premise does sort of hinge on that...) BUT, I still really really like your interpretations (petulant-child!Sherlock is always a hoot), and even better, you're consistent about it, which makes it believable for your universe. (Oh and also, "sargent" is spelled s-e-r-g-e-a-n-t) Still chuckling...There are some real gems in here. - "I'm surprised he's not declared a threat to public health on general grounds" - "Or, you know, because he was carrying a bomb," John said, his voice faint. "Why were you carrying a bomb, Sherlock?" - ...not seeming to realize that for all his talk about bombs, he was the one who'd set one off in the middle of the goddamn living room - To this day, the sound of shrieking librarians was a hidden phobia. - "THIS IS WHY I DON'T GO GROCERY SHOPPING." (poor Sherlock...*giggles*) Keep updating! :) |
Artemisa-arcanum chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 Fabulous fic. We get to see John on his own and Sherlock almost falling apart (makes you wonder how he fared before John came along). It borders on crack fic with the Sherlock in a stor scene yet utterly belivevable. Keep it up! |
MeganTheNerd chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 This quite possibly the most brilliantly entertaining collection of words I have ever had the pleasure of reading! It's a nice change of pace to have John explain the horrors of cohabitation with Sherlock to a normal person. Poor kid will never be the same and he hasn't even met Sherlock in person. I'm looking forward to the next chapter! - MeganTheNerd |
Nos chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 Lulz forever. Poor Sherlock |
Akaia Autumngold chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 Omfg. You are AMAZING. Simply love this - your writing skills are actually good and your characterisation is simply perfect. I've read this and your other Sherlock fic and they are both brilliant - you really make an effort to avoid OOC dialogue and moments, and it's just brilliant. Can't wait for more of this! |
nlthalia chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 Amazing. Just amazing. This is one of my favourite fics...:) Can't wait for chapter 3! |

HoWi chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 This is pure brilliance. I'm dying of laughter with the funny interludes about Sherlock and I'm quite tense about what is going on with John. Can't wait for the next chapter. |
Rina chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 this chapter had me giggling ad clapping like a retarded seal. keep it up, it is absolutely amazing! |
Nonimouse chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 LOL. We need milk. Poor John will have to fly home just to get him milk. What will Sherlock think when he finds out that John has an assistant? Jealous Sherlock goes on a rampage. LOL. I think Mycroft will ensure, in future, that John's best duty to the country is to stay home and babysit Sherlock. |
eohippus chapter 1 . 3/3/2012 Your story got me hooked instantly, its such a good idea! And well written, too. I get the impression you love to write dialogue, and you are doing really well there. E.g.: "Well, some people chase tornadoes. Some people research tsunamis. Some people hunt escaped fugitives. Some people start wars in the middle east. I live with Sherlock Holmes. We've all got something in common." - or: "Take care of London for me." ROFL! Seriously, I love to write dialogue as well and I know how sometimes they take on their own momentum and get really convincing. You certainly know this, too. Good luck, and Ill gladly follow your story! |
Ulura chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 XD So fantastic! I can't wait for more!~ |
Micky chapter 2 . 3/3/2012 In last text from John to Lestrade you wrote JH instead of JW. John Holmes? I know, I know, me and my slashy mind. |
