That was so cute
| Opaline Sapphire chapter 8 . 11/26/2013
I'm absolutely loving your story so far! I'm a huge fan of this pairing and it's so great to read how well you've captured their relationship. Hiyori is adorable as well. I look forward to reading more!

The last chapter is funny

Augh. This is so perfect. I love this so much. And it is so perfectly in character and in sync with nakamura shungiku's style that I forgot I was reading a fanfic, and I thought I was reading a novel translation. I just love you, ugh.
| x chapter 8 . 8/28/2013
I was very surprised by the profound show of trust through Yokozawa giving away his password. At the same time, I think it’s ironic that he can easily trust Kirishima in terms of work but not yet on personal level. I’m not worried, though, since Yokozawa has been moving to that direction, even when he himself is not aware of it.
The underlying theme of asking for approval and desiring acceptance really touches me. You have taken Yokozawa-Hiyori to another level. They are no longer nice-to-meet-you-and-let’s-get-along characters, but now both are exploring deeper in the true meaning of inter-personal relationship.
Using the general gender idea, I like thinking Hiyori is taking Yuki’s mom’s opinion as a helpful advice from the eyes of a mature woman. She lacks feminine influence and is getting more aware of this growing up.
The way she confronts the opinion to Yokozawa is so endearing and sweet. I could feel her apprehension and courage simultaneously. As a blossoming girl, she would need a lot of external support to help her expand her beautiful inside. Yokozawa is certainly cut out for the job. After all, he is currently in the same shoes and what better way to learn than just do it.
I think Kirishima knows that he mostly can treat Hiyori only as a little girl and might fail her. A sleazy way to ask for help to Yokozawa, but it can’t be helped. The man needs help. Hehe.
In the end, you showed that being honest is the best solution. It seems that the sentiment has infected Yokozawa and I would love to see where you are taking us from here.
Great use of internal and external “eye” to “see” things. Tsk, tsk. Also, the way you have been making this, I might start thinking Hiyori is seriously developing a crush on Yokozawa. With their background (and a lot more insistence to the charming girl), that would be a whole new episode of SiH terrorist. Hehe.
| The Black Flamingo101 chapter 8 . 8/27/2013
I laughed my way through this whole chapter, and it really wet my appetite for more of this trifecta triangle. First of all, I'm in deep morbid love with Yokozawa's awkwardness and his utter horror at the fashions of tweenagers. It was hilarious and very vivid to read. Was triple L on her observation that perhaps the non-preacher dislikes shopping as well? You describe it's possible horrors very realistically. I love the clash of Hiyori's typical Japanese "cute" obsession versus Yokozawa's ever growing parental concern. But solving that problem by bolstering Hiyo's own self image was a lovely way to turn things around. Yokozawa, you may be a homo, but you're a marvelous dad, and you, dear writer portrayed that flawlessly.
Ah, but poor Henmi, having to bear the bear's growls. Though I must say I thought Yokozawa keeping up his tough guy act to bolster his own dwindling masculinity (at least in his own mind) fitting. He's going through so many changes as a person and a family member that his questioning of his own inclinations is very realistic, though I must say I giggled over his pseudo trauma.
And the sexy phone call with Zen? Grrrr! The possibly of more angsty lemons ruffles my feathers. Though I shake my head at Yoko's carelessness. I know for a fact that you should NEVER let anyone near your computer unsupervised! They may click on the wrong folder and find "stuff" and...oh dear, there goes my technological paranoia.
Anyways, wonderful chapter dearest dog. I'm on my toes begging for more.

Awww Yokozawa and Hiyo-chan are so cute together! I knew that Yokozawa would get a lovely dress for the girl :D
And OMG Kirishima's offer! Don't back down, Yokozawa
Thanks for the update!
| Lylia00 chapter 8 . 8/26/2013
LoL, he's really a homo XD
I bet Hiyo will look cute in anything. But of course Yokozawa won't let her wear anything that too 'revealing'. It must be really hard for him and Kirishima when the time comes for Hiyo to have a boyfriend, and the boyfriend of course must go through her father and her onii-chan.
Thanks for updating, really cute X3
| Kitkat3195 chapter 8 . 8/26/2013
Now I kind of want Yokozawa to pick out an outfit for me. Haha
Anyway, I really enjoyed this chapter! I swear...Yokozawa is just so cute without even trying.
There is just something about the thought of Yokozawa, the fearsome, top notch salesman of Marukawa, being surrounded by girly fluff, ruffles and sparkles that just makes me want to laugh out loud.
I love how he was the one who picked the perfect dress for Hiyori in the end. What a great "mama". Kirishima will be so proud! Haha
Speaking of Kirishima...Yokozawa actually gave him the password to his laptop?! Access to all his work and private folders? Access to all his settings?
Man...I bet his laptop will be returned back to him in an...interesting state. Heh.
Looking forward to the next chapter! :)

Bwahahahahaha poor Yokozawa! That's ok! We love you just the way you are! And so does Kirishma ;)
| Leigh's Last Laugh chapter 8 . 8/25/2013
This is fantastic. I enjoyed the further torture of Yokozawa through shopping, even as I cringed along with him in sympathy. Clothes shopping sucks. Clothes shopping in a peppy, eye-burning, girly store sucks worse. Battling "Lolita" stylings without provoking a premature bout of teenage rebellion can only suck exponentially more. You'll have to pardon my schadenfreude at your expense: you as writer seem to fall rather decisively into the shopping torture camp, so the idea of you spending hours upon hours thinking and writing about all of these little froufrou details has me in paroxysms of laughter.
Your Trifecta interactions by phone feel so, so right. The banter is spot on. God, I love that pair. And I forgive you for letting Yokozawa make such a huge blunder without the least hint of suspicion. I'll pretend to believe that he blithely gave Kirishima, the king of pranksters, his laptop password because of the psychological torment of Girl Power. In return, I'm trusting you to make Kirishima's prank a good one.
And finally, thank you for writing Yokozawa's "realization" about his sexuality. This can only be healthy for him and his relationships. I like that you used the word "homo," which is more prevalent in JR dialog and in Japan, even though it is less sensitive in western culture. And nothing is more canon than bad jokes at Yokozawa's expense.
You know that I adore Trifecta in general and this story in particular, so I'm glad that you are continuing it.
| puppyfacetwo chapter 8 . 8/25/2013
Poor guy indeed. I kinda feel bad for him, having to endure all the horrors of shopping for little girls, him being a successful sales manager and all. It's not so bad really, shopping for clothes, unless of course you're Yokozawa. Then it's absolute torture in the worst form, girls clothing stores. But I'd say he's conquered this store and has done quite well. :3
| Hayley chapter 7 . 8/19/2013
I love this so much! You're writing style reminds me so much of the actual book that I literally forget that it's not. Seriously, the amount of humor and sweet moments is perfect. I'm laughing just as hard as when I read the book/manga thing. IDK what you call it. :P I'll be honest, when I saw the amount of review with only 7 chapter I was thinking... how'd you manage that? It must be good. I'm so glad I was right.
Please update this soon as that will make me very happy. :) Great job!
