| Gamemakers chapter 1 . 9/29/2015
I've watched a bit of Mad Men here and there, but not enough where I can really comment on any details pertaining to the show.
I really like the way you transfer into the memory here. It feels quite natural, like that really is the way Don's thoughts move. And that last line is /smart/. It's great that you can see Dan blaming the split on her, even though he's admitting a few lines before that his pretty-much-every-bad-husband-qualities are to blame as well.
Really, this was all-around lovely. I think I would have liked to see a little more visual description, since Mad Men is such a visual show (does that make any sense whatsoever? I'm trying to say that the cinematography is a key element, but I'm not sure if that's coming through) that I think it would have blended better with the source material. In either case, it's still a very well-done, bittersweet look into the Drapers. Lovely work!

I absolutely love this story. The last paragraph was especially brilliant. Great work.
