Great story! I am a bad reviewer as the nice shiny next button keeps getting in the way of me writing a review. Did you know that A Christmas Carol was the first book, at least in English, to mention time travel? It is considered to be the very first science fiction novel.

Loved this story, beautiful story to read before bed. Going to be dreaming lots of lovely Downton dreams tonight! I would love to see additionally their wedding and honeymoon written about. i found this story absolutly gourgeous . love it in everyway, loved how bold teen matthew was haha i enjoyed every chapter and every word of it.
the only thing i could critizes was probably mary's relationship with carson, was non so canon as i think it is, as well as mary's relationship with her father, but you probably made it like that on purpose, anyways overall i think t is excellent:) well done.

So I am an avid Mary/Matthew fanfic reader and I have come to adore this story. I read it a few weeks ago and have just now gotten around to submitting a review. I would love for you to do more stories with Mary and Matthew as young teenagers. This story was compelling because of the innocence and reality that is true to young love. This reminds me of things that teenagers should actually be doing instead of running around and having sex with everybody! I enjoy the intimate stories of their adulthood years but appreciate the innocence that you displayed with the characters in this story. So with that said, I give you an applause for a job well done. Continue writing, you have an incredible talent.

Nice happy ending! I had hoped they wouldn't have still gone the Richard/Lavinia route with a new past, but I guess Pamuk reared his ugly head and caused problems. But it matters little because in the end they were back in the kitchen, Carson making them hot chocolate, and everything came full circle. And this time, they're not young teenagers, but adults, so other than wishing we'd seen more of the shenanigans, great work!

Great job with this story and I'm glad you continued it. Nice, natural progression for the friendship and what turned into a first crush/love. Little Sybil was too cute for words. Very nice touch at the end with Mary wanting to give him her little dog and sad that the Dowager and Isobel had an argument to the point Matthew had to leave without saying goodbye. Given the proximity of these memories, if Patrick and his father died on the Titanic and Matthew was asked to return, I hope we get some glimpse of their "first" meeting. Please update soon!
