Reviews for Harry Potter and the Mind |

![]() ![]() Nice chapter, especially the concept regarding rote memorization against actual understanding and comprehension. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Harry's attack on Malfoy seems over -the-top as a reaponse to an attack that never actually happened. That and all the name calling just makes him come across as the bully. For someone that put so much thought into what growing up means he's acting very juvenile. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for completing your stories. |
![]() ![]() I have finally found and read the definitive Harry Potter. I need never read another fanfic after this. Fantastic work. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() I also hate incomplete works. And I loved the way you deal with Hermione Granger's hitting. It's so not okay. |
![]() ![]() So true about Hermione Granger. |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG |
![]() ![]() ![]() It REALLY does need an epilogue! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Marvelous story! I have read and reread the HP books and watched and rewatched the HP movies ... then I started reading FanFiction. I have read literally hundreds, possible thousands of HP FF. I can no longer read the books or watch the movies. FF has exposed the multitude of bad or inept characters and many other shortcomings. This may be the most satisfying HP story I have ever read! I understand that Harry was abused. I still wanted to slap him silly for the way he acted in the books! His attitude in this chapter and those leading up to it is just about perfect. Hope you write more stories! |
![]() ![]() I appreciate you completing your stories before you start posting. I also find it irritating to get into a story that has been abandoned. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I finally finished this story, and, well, let's just say that I now have another author note I both agree and disagree with... yes, it IS perfectly fine ending where it's at, so don't get me wrong, but I do feel that some kind of epilogue would be beneficial, just so it doesn't have that "Harry beat Voldemort, The End" feel to it, that kinda irks me, although thankfully I don't see that too often, thank God... As I've said in reviews of previous chapters, it was (and is) a great story... Thank you for your hard work! Will follow and favorite, if I haven't already and I recommend others reading this, to at least check the story out... |
![]() ![]() ![]() **A/N2: The summary of this story shows "HP/HG/LL" as the ships. If you read it anyway, and then got surprised or disappointed by the "HG" part, then you deserve everything you get.** While I do agree with these words, even I was surprised somewhat by the "HG" part of the shipping, to a degree... ok, ok, before you get your knickers in a twist about that last bit, when I just SAID I agreed that people shouldn't be surprised, let me ask you this... when your story ships "HP/HG" (we're ignoring "LL" for this part of the pair was never in dispute) and the "HG" in question is basically proving to be completely against Harry Potter, for around the first half of the story, and seemingly wants nothing to do with Harry, nor does she believe him until sometime around the 19th chapter, would you, or would you not, be surprised that Hermione went from villain to lover faster than you can say the word "amortentia"? I knew it would happen, don't get me wrong, but even so, I didn't know that it would come that fast, nor what time, and was beginning to doubt it would actually be a Harry/Hermione pairing (again, ignoring "LL"), which, in and of itself, is why I say that it would be easy to be surprised, in my opinion... as for being disappointed, well, y'all are on your own with that one cuz I think it's a pretty good story so far myself, so would think anyone who's disappointed must be talking out their asses no matter what the truth might be... However, this doesn't mean that I'm the only one who's right, and I expect people to form their own opinions on all that relates to this story... Keep up the good work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() A Davenport is a large sofa in the United States, but in Britain where this story takes place, a Davenport is a writing desk. The word you're looking for in this context would be Settee, or Sofa if you prefer. |
![]() ![]() ![]() WOW! What an incredible story. A thinking Harry who is capable of understanding how things actually work was an incredible read. Thank you for sharing it with us. You rock! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was a fun read! Thanks |
