It's alright. Though I don't see the stuff you were talking about, you are the author of this story that to me is the best Pokemon story on this website and I will wait. Though don't make the story too short. Have the best of luck. By AceMasterz25.

While I am disappointed your making the right choice. My biggest problem with this story is rarity of people able to understand Pokemon because psychic pokemon can use telepathy you know and if pokemon can learn to understand human languages why couldn't a human learn theirs nothings stopping them from trying and neither of those things were ever really cleared up to my satisfaction (also aura). Also could do without Jessie and James while your characterization of them is the best portrayal in the fandom, they are still ridiculous and add little to the story. I'd also cut as much of the filler as possible the whole murderer priest arc seemed very unnecessary and their were other parts that just came off as canon rehash. All in all one of the best stories in the fandom and while I am sad to see it ended I will be eagerly anticipating the rewrite,

My only request is that you please, please, please keep Symbiosis up even when you start posting Symbiotic. This is my second favorite Pokemon fic and easily in my top 100 (which says a lot since there's at least that many fandoms I read fics for). Even when Symbiotic comes out, I'llprobably still enjoy reading both it and this older version.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I can wait. To be honest, I've nearly given up fanfiction over the past few years. As time went on on I realized that 99% of it is shit with a reasonable amount of "meh" and a few gems throughout. This story was one of the gems, and to see it revised and rewritten is going to be amazing, even if it takes a few years to do. Please take your time, since time is often what it takes to make a good story. I can't deny my hopes were slightly raised and I am kind of disappointed, but the fact that you're going to revise the story and make it better shows just how much you care about telling a story well. Cheers to you and have fun with the revision!

I'll probably reread this version of Symbiosis several more times but I respect your decision and look forward to seeing Symbiotic.

Sorry to hear about the rewrite. If it helps, I honestly enjoyed almost all of this story. None of the issues you mentioned occurred to me until you mentioned them, and for a lot of them I would say the original anime is far more at fault.

I also like filler, in moderation. But that might be a personal thing.

The characterisation, the concept, and the different way you paint the Pokemon world are all fantastic. The writing is well formed (constructive, you could say :P) and more importantly, kept me engaged throughout.

This story is already miles better than most of the things on this site, and you had to have the creativity, diligence and patience to write it all. It is not something I could ever be bothered doing, and so I respect you all the more for it.

Still, I can understand wanting to improve things. Good luck on the rewrite, and remember that the most important thing is that you enjoy writing it! :)

The early chapters are fine if you cut out the Crazies. They never add anything too the main story in their scenes. Still, the rest is an interestingly new take on the universe. Well written to boot. One of the best actually.

If the re-write is definite, please do not erase or delete "symbiosis", it's a great story many people (including I) would not wish to lose
