Reading and especially writing on these kinds of sites are about enjoyment, if you no longer enjoy something don't force it. I'm glad we have the fic we do as it really is a fun adventure with a delicious dark twist. And the fact it's getting a rewrite? That makes me excited XD

Will Ash have his aura abilities earlier? Will Pikachu be more cuddly and less full of himself (I kind of like him this way, but it's weird envisioning something so cute being so vulgar and abrasive sometimes lmao). And lastly, will Ash do everything in his power to avoid Brock and Misty due to them being overprotective maniacs? I always thought it was funny how he was actively trying to avoid them instead of trying to be friends with them like he did in the show lol.

eh, post a notice here please. But frankly, Symbiosis was pretty good by the standard of this site. So I wouldn't say everything else was shit.

I won't lie, it is a disappointment. This was one of the best Pokèmon fics I've read, period.
It's doubly worse, since you just got to the best parts.
However, I understand and agree with your assessment. Some parts did make me less than enthused and sometimes outright cringe. Those were few and far between, though. As Pokèmon fanfics stand, yours was quite near the top.
It is your decision however, and hey, it's free! I should thank you for even bothering to write!Seriously, though, I look forward to reading the new and improved version of Symbiosis. I shall await that really nice day.

I really liked the beginning of your story, really original and well-written. I'm going to stop reading now though, not because i don't like your writing but because you're following the anime. the point of fanfiction for me personally is to explore the pokemon world though other stories than the ones Nintendo and Gamephreak already gave us. Keep writing though! Plenty of people seem to enjoy your story. You're a good writer
