I apologize but I simply skipped the first chapter. Corporal punishment is never the right Answer - psychologically it has been shown to have a negative impact on a child's development. Spencer hit Gideon so rather than Gideon teach Spencer that hitting isn't right - he hits him? Kind of backwards.

The spanking of Spencer is so wrong and pretty much destroyed an amazing story. Sorry but that just made me sick!

Interesting that Spencer is not allowed to hit Gideon but Gideon spanks Spencer...seems contradictory and counterproductive esp. in light of previous abuse. I do love a good kid story so am hoping that corporal punishment isn't a major theme.

Another fantastic chapter! This was the perfect way to end this particular story. As much as I've loved seeing 'this' Reid grow up, it's nice to see him becoming a part of the BAU now... but poor Spence - he earns the respect of his fellow cadets, and then graduation happens and he's right back where he started, having to now earn the respect of his fellow BAU Agents. I look forward to seeing your version of Reid's early days with the BAU... and of course how you handle Boston. I love seeing Reid's relationship with his family. He's such a good big brother! I also absolutely loved the moment of quiet reflection and sadness that his birth parents hadn't lived to see him graduate from the Academy that you gave him at his graduation - it was a wonderfully bitter sweet moment given that we know how things turned out for a different Spencer Reid and how even with all he's had to suffer through, ultimately this Spencer Reid is perhaps better off for it with the large family of loved ones he's gained for it. Wonderfully done. :D

Just found your 'A Tangled Web' fics, and I thought they were just wonderful. I'm glad to see there are more coming. Thank you for sharing your talent.

His finally a part of the BAU! I know there will be those who will give him a hard time but I can't wait for him to show them all why he got the assignment.

A sad moment to know that a story has ended, but excitement reigns to know that there is plenty more to come. I have had such a blast to date working on this with you, and I just can't wait to see what you're going to do with the storylines to come.
