| Akumi chapter 6 . 8/8/2013 Ah man...this whole story had me becoming a blubbering mess! I knew as soon as I read the first quote in chapter one that something horrible was going to happen to Kagome, so during all the fluffy and well written scenes that made me smile, I couldn't help the growing feeling of dread. I even started tearing up way before Sesshomaru got that phone call, but thank you so much for having her wake up! I don't know if my poor over weepy emotions could have handled her dying or not at least opening her eyes before the ending. I really enjoyed the characterization you put into Sess and kagome. You gave them life and multiple layers, and while it's a relatively short story/interconnected one-shots, it really blended and flowed wonderfully. Your stories all have an undeniable ability to reign me in and capture my entires attention before I even realize I was just looking for a quick read. I don't know how you do it, and I'm slightly jealous, but within the first chapter/paragraphs of most of your stories I end up emotionally connected to your characters and legitimately caring for them. haha Not all authors can do that! Since I'm horrible at commenting all the time, I figured I'd let you know I love your other stories as well and often re-read them. Thank you for sharing your writing! |
