Okay, silly of me, but that was supposed to be "Sincerely, HenriettaPotterLeFay7" I don't know how that extra 'P' got there. Oh, well. Once again, fantastic work and I hope that you write more-if you haven't already.

Oh, that was lovely. And thanks to you, I'm going to go watch Dark Shadows now. Many classic sundaes and fudge brownies to you, good samaritan.

David seriously needs to knock off his holy crucade in defense of Edward Cullen. It's obsessive and weird. (And it takes a lot to get me to call someone weird). He's the same guy who tries to persuade me that Dracula cannot read thoughts because Jonathan only "suspected" he could and that his psychic link with Mina and Renfield was something else all together. He also rants about how no human or human weapon can defeat Edward and that because he can read thoughts and has rock hard skin he is virtually indestructible "But that's one of his flaws."
This is a spoof / parody fan fiction and it's funny. David needs to put down his sword and stop defending the sparkling damsel in distress. No, this is not a serious fan fiction and I doubt the characters creators or the characters (if they were real) would be offended by a little fun. Just relax and enjoy the story.

Well, that was totally out of character for both Edward Cullen and Barnabas Collins. It reads like someone spitting venom rather than telling a story. Sure, I'm all for poking fun but that isn't what I read here. I am, quite frankly, disappointed.
Please understand where I'm coming from. TWILIGHT is okay, kinda like a gooey desert. DARK SHADOWS is more like a really, really good hamburger, in my case coming from a favorite restaurant or cafe I've loved for years. If you're looking for truly top-notch vampire stories I go for CARMILLA or LET ME IN or SHADOW OF THE VAMPIRE. I mention this because of the overreaction by some, that to feel anything but seething hatred for Edward Cullen mean you're one of the most ridiculous of teenage fans.
More to the point, this isn't funny. Its a literary equivalent of peeing on someone when they're asleep. I don't see any wit here. Just hatred. I don't see any parody, nor any sharp satire nor even one joke. And this image of Barnabas as a ruthless killer of people he doesn't know because they annoy him...well, really where does that come from? Am I supposed to laugh? Or when he calmly looks forward to slaughtering a woman he doesn't even know? Really, was this supposed to be funny? I like dark humor, but where was the humor?

Wow! like it

It was so funny when Barnabas whacked Edward with his cane. This inspired me to write "Alice vs Alice" on this site.

This was epic, glad someone put Edweirdo in his place.
By the way, staircase? As in, the Impossible Staircase? Or is it a different time travelling staircase?

Okay, even I am a twi-hard. But this was flipping hilarious! I loved this!
My favourite part: " Don't mess up my hair."
I love you. Eddie, but Barnabas won this round. And the next...and the next...
Welll done on the story!
| Iz chapter 1 . 7/26/2012
Finally! Someone wrote his death! -With a bonus: Barnabas Collins killed him!

This story is nice. I'm not anti-Twilight books because I do read them once awhile when I'm bored(that's also because I borrowed it from the library. No way am I going to buy that EXPENSIVE book). The movie is a catastrophe, I must say except Vampires Suck. This got me laughing hard. xD
Anyway about your story, I love the ending & I wish it did happen. Maybe you could direct a movie based on this plot, perhaps? It would be a great film.
I love the way you write this story although I am a bit sad that it's short but it's nicely written. You definitely got your points right by using Barnabas to deliver your message. He did make Edward look & sound like a fool.
The story is convincing enough for most Twi-haters but might aggravate Twi-lovers. But oh well. Life's never perfect, eh?
Keep up the good work and I'd like to read more about Barnabas.
