Brilliant! So creative, and so Gaston.
| kayaklady chapter 1 . 10/19/2012
I never thought that I would read a story where Gaston is actually sympathetic. A very well constructed story.

What a wonderful, whimsical little piece that focuses on a one-off character. Nice characterization of Gaston as a cantankerous rose and the bird as cheerful yet flighty. I do like the idea that, once someone has been cursed, it's quite a bit harder for a new curse to stick to them.
I enjoy Gaston's story and his explanation that he was never loved. I can't help but pity the poor rose and wish that he can have his own happy ending.
Thank you for writing this wonderful fic!

| Time and Fate chapter 1 . 3/18/2012
I liked this. I actually wanted OUAT's Gaston to get a happy ending, because I love Sage Brocklebank so much. This was very nice

| Inkblood chapter 1 . 3/15/2012
very well written! This actually reminded me of Le Petit Prince, a whimsical little french novel. I love the little bird, and i love the why Gaston la Rose tells the story. Quite an enchanting little story!
