KEEP HAVING CONVERSATIONS THAT KEEP ME UP AT NIGHT, GUYS. GREAT Dialog! These deep discussions are just too fun! I'm afraid I might just get lost along the way!
There's no way a child can keep up with the scheming like that. This Harry is overpowered. I feel threatened!

HOLY SHIT! This CHAPTER is KILLING ME.
The conversations held and the intentions hidden-and-revealed are Perfection Incarnate! The plans that fail and those that change! The friends that stay and the dilemmas they face! The pacing is just right to build up tension and to loosen it at the perfect spots, it makes for the most emotional story I've faced this year! And I've read so much this year! Every narrator is entertaining on its own, and I want to be in everyone's head simultaneously all the time in this fic, gosh!

whenever you remind us this story isn't slash I throw a tantrum. It would be almost exactly my type (PG-or-under depictions of romance through unhealthy mind games) and this brings me to a near obsessive state. I'm still kinda hoping you come back a year later yielding to the shipping tendencies in a new chapter!... It's just me, though...! I mean, the current mentor-like dynamic mixed with ounces of deceit and confusion is fantastic as is, and the fic has INCREDIBLE merit on its own. It surely doesn't need the extra mush /only I/ am waiting for! I just wanted to say this cause it was so close to my favourite kind of romance, yanno! Please don't get mad at me...!

What it /does/ need is even more chapters, I say, merely at chapter 50. This story could go on for soooo long, considering where we currently stand in canon! Skipping is always an option, too, but I'm grateful you decided to not skip third year. (long fics are such a blessing thank you thank you thank you)

The plot is going uphill and can't wait to let it destroy me on the way down. Although, if this is dropped, it's ok too. I've not the imagination to guess how it would proceed but at least I can re-read what you've already published (which is a lot!). This concept is terribly exploitable and I wanted to see where you would lead it to, considering ALL the posibilities.

I really like how you characterized Dumbledore in this chapter. Since Riddle gets an intelligence upgrade, it's only fair and makes for a better story that Dumbledore is similarly on top of things.

This story is everything I love! It's so amazing! I have really enjoyed reading it!

Harry's in for it now . . . didn't Riddle kill Hedwig immediately after Harry attempted to kill himself? I don't think Harry's going to like Riddle's reaction to attempting to kill him, that's much worse . . .

Okay, this one was pretty intense! I think these creepy threatening conversations are still my favorite part of this fic.

I like how you had Draco and Harry kind of bond over Riddle. I mean, both of them are afraid of him to a greater or lesser degree, but that's not all. Harry kind of likes Riddle, and feels guilty about it. Draco doesn't like Riddle as much as he should . . . and feels kind of guilty and confused about it. They've come from opposite starting points to pretty much the same place,and I really like the way you pulled their relationship off.

Okay, so now I like where you are taking Hermione even more. The 'academic debate' part with Tom was excellent in of itself, and besides that, gives her a little more common ground with Harry, I think. Well done!

Now the twins are getting involved, and Lupin. Tom is like a spider, trying to draw all of the best flies towards him. It's creepy.

Another excellent chapter! I really really liked the interaction between Harry and Draco in this one, and the part where Harry's smile resembled Tom's was pretty creepy, if realistic. Spending a lot of time with people definitely causes their mannerisms to rub off on you.

Hah, Lucius totally deserves this. He should have given his 16 year old lord more credit, and I mean in canon also. If you think about his plan to discredit Arthur, he was assuming that Tom, as Ginny would be caught and blamed. He expected him to attack muggleborns and help Lucius's agenda, rather than advance his own, and try to come back to life. I always love it when a story makes me notice something else about the original books like that, so thank you. It's been a while, since after you've read enough fanfiction, it's hard to find something new.
