Oh my, what a read! I absolutely love the "Hunger Games" books, such an original and smart plot! I wouldn't have thought that this universe could blend so well with the Rizzoli & Isles characters but you totally made it happen! I loved how you started this awesome piece of fanfiction shortly before the Quarter Quell and made Jane volunteer when Maura is reaped. Jane's mission to protect Maura at all costs so that her love can return home safely is so inspiring and sweet and tragic and I think it's sooo in character that Jane would do something like that. I loved the way you wrote her. Maura, too, but Jane was incredibly written here. Can't wait to read the sequel soon! Thank you for sharing this adventurous story with us.

such a great concept and so well done. everything fits so perfect. feel like it’s moving a little fast and could’ve been nice to linger more in some moments, but excited to see where things go. definitely a great plot unravelling.

This must have been so difficult for them. I won't even try and imagine it.
Bruises heal very fast. It is not long before they disappear from sight.
Emotional bruises never really heal. With time, years and years, you can bullshit yourself into believing that they have. But every now and again something triggers that wound to tare open. Exposing you to the exact same pain again.

Oh no! You went and made me cry. Crying in sadness, relieve and gratitude.
