Guest chapter 29 . 11/19/2015 Crackinois, you very well married and remodeled both original stories to create a new one (but which respects its origins); a poignant, moving, harrowing and also galvanizing new story... I saw everything and I felt everything, you indisputably are a talented writer. Thank you for this wonderful piece of writing. It's such a pity that "Victor" remains unfinished/TBC. |

Jenn Deering chapter 28 . 3/15/2015 Gawd, you had me bawling when Angela saw Tommy for the first time! This was a wonderful adaptation of the Hunger Games. THANK YOU for this. I'm looking forward to the sequel. |
Jenn Deering chapter 8 . 3/14/2015 You made me cry, damn it, over Jane's love for her mother. I love what you've done with these characters - Maura is as lovable as ever, but your Jane is kinder, tougher, and more likeable. |
Daryl chapter 28 . 2/3/2015 i've been reading this story for the past few days, i love it and i so look forward to reading the sequel. i can't believe they ate bass though (not technically bass i know but still an african spurred tortoise) |
aznblossom chapter 29 . 1/9/2015 OMG THIS IS AMAZING! I love your use of the characters and omg, you are a very creative writer! I have not read the hunger books or seen the movie and wasn't interested in it, but after reading this, I am more interested in them. I look forward to reading more of your stories ] |
Guest chapter 29 . 11/30/2014 This is my second read of this story, and it is the first time I have felt inclined to review. My apologies for the lateness! It is well written and your phraseology is both tight and descriptive. While undoubtedly derivative as you acknowledge, it takes from both universes in a coherent and cohesive manner. Well done. Have you considered writing your own original fiction? |
polotiz chapter 29 . 11/15/2014 Holy mother of.. Well, I had this story (and you) recommended to me and having read the whole thing today I know why! That was... Intense, beautiful, visual, painful, terrifying...so expertly and incredibly written I am in awe. Easily one of the best AUs out there. Definitely. Thank you so much for writing (now give me back my sleep! It's 3am ;) ) Tiz |
Chemical Dreamer chapter 29 . 11/4/2014 Great Story! |
shootthephoto chapter 29 . 10/29/2014 I had to read this in one sitting... I've been so gripped by the whole thing. A box of tissues has been sacrificed during the reading! You are an amazing writer but I dare not start Victor tonight or I'll never get any sleep! |
xxraug-mossxx chapter 29 . 10/24/2014 phew! what a story! really has it all. heartbreak, love, an evil regime, action, danger... well the list goes on. needless to say the Hunger Games are really good books, not my favorite, but still very well written. your take on this is really amazing. the way you incorporated details and events and turned things around to fit your story. I enjoyed every single chapter. the depictions of the characters were really palpable and it was easy to just feel right along with them. I am looking forward the sequel and I hope you keep on writing. there is still so much unsolved and I can't wait for the moment Hoyt gets a taste of his own poison. although I must say that the suffering he put Jane through was difficult to reconcile with what the show did and how the books work. I guess I would've preferred for the attempt to be just that. anyways, an amazing story nonetheless. a wonderful read. thank you. |
