Edward often say he lacks soul, but he dosnt understand that someone without a soul cant feel the emotions and feelings he felt for Bella.
A charming story.

What a lovely story. Very bittersweet. It really made me feel for poor Edward, the sentinel. No love, no real life. Very sad. Well done, and good luck in the contest :D

Nice one-shot. :)
The ending reminded me of the Meg Ryan/Nicolas Cage scene in City of Angels.

Wow! Great story. Loved all the emotion from the "machine." Very original. Please let me know who you are after the contest so I can put you on alert!

I'm glad they made a connection, even though it was the most tenuous kind. It would have been awful for him to be so affected, and have absolutely no acknowledgement of his presence. A sad and lovely tale of an invisible sentinel. Thanks for writing!

This is my favorite story so far. It is so sad to see how Edward has to see her from afar in a way. He must be so lonely. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
